As the anticipated date for the Israeli withdrawal from Gaza approaches, more support is being heard among the Palestinians for having Israel demolish the houses in the settlements. Even Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas (Abu Mazen) supports the move. Why? Why should the Palestinians mind getting the homes of the settlers as they are, and using them as they wish?
Many Israelis, and chief among them the settlers, support demolition. They fear seeing pictures of the Palestinian victory celebrations in their Gush Katif homes. "The terrorists will dance on the roofs of our homes," wrote one of the settlers' publications. Prime Minister Ariel Sharon has prophesied that the moment the Israel Defense Forces and the settlers leave the settlements, thousands of Palestinians from all over Gaza will burst in and will conduct looting campaigns. His words have angered many people in the PA, who have asked the Palestinian security services to prepare for that eventuality, and to declare the settlements a closed military area to prevent the scenes of looting.
From conversations with Arab residents of Gaza, it turns out that many do in fact believe that the masses will sweep down on the homes of the settlers immediately after Israel's withdrawal. Some will come for the loot: pipes, tiles, electric wires. But that's not the main thing. In Gaza they are talking about the fact that tens of thousands will raid the settlements in order to destroy them, down to their foundations. In other words, they will raid the homes of the settlers not to loot them, but for the purpose of revenge.

Well, the entire world knows that Palestinians have an annoying habit of exploding. Representing themselves as uncultured vandals would be an improvement.
Along with Arabs in Cairo, Riyadh, and Damascus.
Isn't that "And he will be a wild ass of a man?"
Anyway, palis don't storm, they swarm. They will rip each other limb from limb in the frenzy. I'd kinda like to see it, now that I come to think about it.
They would cave in the houses while their own children are busy vandalizing the inside and still the frenzy would only increase.
If the situation were reversed and Jews were given the chance to occuppy Arab homes, they'd have to sweep every inch for bombs (especially the nurseries and playgrounds).
Not in the KJV, but I confess that I thought it was "wild ass" and didn't have time to look it up at origin.
Think in today's verbiage what I thought it was is far more descriptive than what KJV says.
