Your eyes are similar to your FM radio, in that it will only 'recieve' a certain part of the nergy spectrum.
It tunes from 88 to 108 millions of cycles per second frequency, out of a WHOLE reange of other stuff that is also hitting the antenna, but the innards don't know it.
Your old TV picked up CH 2-13 VHF band (Very High Frequency waves)
When THAT band got overloaded with broadcasters they started utilizing an Ultra High Freq band: UHF which picked up channels 14 to 83.
(BTW, the 'channels' are 6 millions cycles wide which is needed to convey the video and audio information to the human)Your eyes pick uo just a part of the total spectrum of energy that is landing on them.)
Your AMradio 'tunes' to a lower freq than both your TV and your FM. Your cordless phone operates ABOVE the range of your TV's, and your microwave opetes even higher than that, but not quite as high as Light.
You can't 'see' heat because your eyes do not 'tune' for it. However, in your skin, you DO have receptors that DO pick up these frequencies. Some snakes have VERY advanced 'heat' receptors that low them to find prey in the dark.
Good heavens. No need to consider intelligent design as a factor in any of those phenomena. Nosiree.
