It is pathetic that given the sad state of the democratic party that the republicans haven't been able to accomplish diddly squat in the past 5 months.
It's time to put the libs and rinos on notice that they don't run the show.

It seemed Dean confused Osama with Saddam several times.
I couldn't watch for long, but Dean was dancing and back peddling as fast as he could.

Russert caught the onetime presidential candidate off guard when he asked about his recent endorsement of self-professed socialist, Rep. Bernie Sanders to replace retiring Vermont Senator Jim Jeffords. "Well, first of all, he's not a socialist, really," Dean protested. When Russert noted that Sanders had acknowledged in writing: "Outside or in the House, I am a Democratic socialist." Dean offered meekly, "Well, a Democratic socialist - all right, we're talking about words here." "I hear that Dinsdale nailed your head to the floor."
"What? Dinsy? Never! He never nailed my head to the floor!"
"But the police have film of Dinsdale nailing your head to the floor."
"Oh. Well. He did that -- but he had to! I had transgressed the unwritten law!"
"And what law was that?"
"Errrr, well, he didn't tell me. But, he assured me that this was the case -- and that's good enough for me with ol' Dinsy!"

In a pointedly embarrassing interview...One has to have a moral/ethical base to be capable of being embarrassed.

This man is scary. I hope we as a nation are never stupid enough to elect him to high office. A Dean Presidency would've flushed this country right down the crapper.

I think Russert should have been a little more aggressive. But pipsqueak gave many O'soundbites for the likes of Limbaugh, Ingraham and the rest of the gang to pick apart. Howard Dean is a little man with little feet and little influence.

Dean was such a disastrous pick for the DEM's - But they are such children anymore they can't even see it -

The demokkkrat party has to be destroyed and replaced. If one of these lunatics were to get elected president, you'd have to split the country up. You couldn't just hand it over to them; there'd be nothing there four years later.

I heard Drudge's analysis of the Dean/Russert interview, and it is clear that behind the scenes, Queen Thunderthighs is giving marching orders to keep the republican party tilting at windmills whilst she groom herself for '08. Just one freeper's opinion.

Howard Dean insisted on Sundays "Meet the Press that House Majority Leader Tom DeLay should be treated more harshly than Osama bin Laden. Amazing. Couldn't have been a better choice than Dean for Democratic National Committee chairman.
