Russert caught the onetime presidential candidate off guard when he asked about his recent endorsement of self-professed socialist, Rep. Bernie Sanders to replace retiring Vermont Senator Jim Jeffords. "Well, first of all, he's not a socialist, really," Dean protested. When Russert noted that Sanders had acknowledged in writing: "Outside or in the House, I am a Democratic socialist." Dean offered meekly, "Well, a Democratic socialist - all right, we're talking about words here."

"I hear that Dinsdale nailed your head to the floor."
"What? Dinsy? Never! He never nailed my head to the floor!"
"But the police have film of Dinsdale nailing your head to the floor."
"Oh. Well. He did that -- but he had to! I had transgressed the unwritten law!"
"And what law was that?"
"Errrr, well, he didn't tell me. But, he assured me that this was the case -- and that's good enough for me with ol' Dinsy!"

"Well, a Democratic socialist - all right, we're talking about words here."

I found this exchange the most intriquing of the so-called 'interview'. There was a pregnant pause... after Dean said 'Democratic-socialist'. He almost said what he felt.

“So what's wrong with a Democratic-socialist?!”

Dean, and most of his Party, have no problem with socialism... except with admitting they socialists. They love the UN and the Democratic-socialist governments of Europe more than America... and so does the MSM.

In short, they are unannounced revolutionaries.
