Russell Johnson was the professor.Yes, but what was his character's name? I believe it was only mentioned once, on the first broadcast episode.

Isn't Bob Denver still a DJ in Charleston, WV? He got busted a few years back buying marijuana in the mail.

I liked the Maynard G. Krebbs character. He was a great beatnik, played some awesome bongos with his jazz friends, and had a very strange strong reaction to certain words - "WORK!!".

I loved the Maynard G. Krebbs character! He was the only one on that show I really liked (aside from Dobie's dad - he was funny).

What ever happened to the actress that was smart girl that had a serious crush of Dobbie Gillis. Thelma on Scoobie-Doo looks like they modeled her after that girl on Dobbie Gillis.

I recall seeing somewhere an interview with "Mary Ann" just a couple of years ago. Can't remember where or why. But she looked pretty good! Out of the group she's aged by far the best.
