You are sure right there. I just saw a program yesterday with some of them interviewed a few years ago. All of them except maybe Mary Ann and the Professor looked awful.

I hope so, too - and long life to your father! My Dad is a contemporary of the late Johnny Cash, and I almost had a breakdown when John died last year. It's hard to face the unavoidable mortality of our loved ones.

I have always wondered what it was about those shows, Gilligan and Brady Bunch.

Both were awful. I knew they were awful but I still watched them knowing I was watching awful TV.

I think part of it was they were good ideas plus good casting.
