These controversial words were written by former minister for equality in a coloumn in the feminist magazine WomenPressure (Kvinnotryck). "I suppose it can be provoking, particular if you are a man", she states.
Margareta Winberg: I am no man hater
The government has a close cooperation with extreme feminists who consider that "men are animals"
This is revealed in Swedish Televisions documentary, "Sex War".
The documentary which is being aired this Sunday shows a strong connection between the governments sex equality policies and the national feminist organisation, Roks.
In Roks' magazine WomenPressure, the former equality minister Margareta Winberg writes in a coloumn:
- Sometimes I am baffled that not more women really hate men.
What do you mean by that?
- When you look around the world to see how women are treated, you can start wondering why women still have patience with men, says Margareta Winberg.
Militant feminism
How do you think such a statement will be received?
- Yes, it can be provoking, particularly for men. I pursue this thought in my coloumn. But, I do not belong in the groups who are manhaters. I just want to emphasize that.
Who would you say belong to that group?
- You should not ask me that. I do not belong to such a group, and I know noone who hates men.
Roks, however, is an organisation that praises militant feminism according to the documentary. Through proffessional lobbying activities in parliament they with the help of Margareta Winberg managed to transform the extreme feminisms' ideas into reality.
- That fraction within Roks who are radical, and which by some are considered to be extreme, is not part of government policy, says Margareta Winberg.
Roks last year, received 11.7 million kroner in government support, and organises two/thirds of the womens organisations in Sweden.
"Men are animals"
In 2006 the womens organisations are going to share 100 million kroner according to an agreement between the social democrat government, the Green party and the left party.
In Roks magazine, the extreme feminists Valeria Solana is hailed in a recent review.
She writes in her manifesto: "To call a man an animal is to flatter him: He is a machine, a walking dildo, a biological mishap."
In the documentary, the chairman (chairwoman, I guess I should say before I get sued: translator note) Irene von Wachenfelt is asked whether she agrees with Solana.
- Yes, men are animals. Don't you agree? says Ireen von Wachenfeldt to the reporter.
When Aftonbladet asks von Wachenfeldt what she means by that, she answers:
- I personally don't considers men animals, but according to Solana I can understand why many women feel that way
Uffda.
Sweden is even worse off than I thought. Truly a basketcase.
Sweden, the favourite case study of the progressives, should be interesting to observe in the years ahead.
Extreme feminism, extreme PC'nes, extreme multiculturalism, progressive utopia, all played out in that little laboratory that is my neighboring country.
It's kind of sad to see Sweden go over the cliff, but it will perhaps play a good part in dispelling the false religion of progressive politics.
Cheers.
Sweden ping.
Well, there is hope - that the state broadcaster saw it fit to do a hit job on these nutsos should count for something.
No, Ms. Winberg. Women do not hate men. Feminists do.
I agree. That was a bit surprising...
I am starting to see a flicker of debate emerging, on issues that have long been supressed.
I always thought the Scandinavian and Nordic nations are pretty much the same. So how different is each nation in terms of leftist dagma in politics?
(It must also be of note that this country, New Zealand, has been frequently described as "Sweden of the South Pacific". The 1980s no-nukes Labour Party Prime Minister, David Lange, openly admired the then Swedish counterparts, Palme. And the current PM Dear Helen openly uses Sweden as the model for NZ to emulate. Surveys after surveys indicate sheeples aka New Zealanders want NZ to be like Sweden or Finland)
Ping!

Thanks for the links.
Perhaps the emergence of internet and blogging etc, will eventually force through a real debate about what is going on...
Cheers.
They don't because of that big bulge in our trousers.
Our wallets.
I don't have time for a long answer at the moment, but in range of wackyness IMHO:
Denmark - Norway - Sweden
I'll leave with an article from the Copenhagen Post about Sweden and Denmark's working habits:
Swedes and Danes are different animals
"Danes:
Hold short breaks by themselves
Bring the coffee to the telephone when it rings during the break
Bring lunch from home
Sometimes skip the lunch break
Smoke wherever they are after lunch
Can stay home with a sick child for one day
Keep their private lives to themselves
Frequently confront each other
Swedes:
Sit together on long breaks
Hold their breaks without taking the telephone
Eat warm canteen lunch or go to a restaurant
Find it strange when colleagues skip lunch breaks
Would never smoke indoors
Stay at home with sick children until they are well
Discuss private lives at work
Treat their colleagues politely and calmly "

Scaniaboy? Any thoughts?
"Men are animals" And women are no less??? Both have there faults and many being the same, Both give into there urges that make us Animals, These extreme Feminists Are animals because they give into there baser urges such as that to hate which is obviously simpler than to forgive or dare even say Love.
Sorry scania boy..that wasnt to you im a bit tired and messing up all over the place
["Sometimes I am baffled that not more women really hate men."]
..So she's admitting that the observed facts do not match what is predicted by her ideology. Now, a rational person might consider reviewing the ideology, but noooo, in standard liberal fashion she will simply ignore the baffling facts and continue preaching the same shtick.
Facts are not the friends of liberals. They do not seriously discuss them. They instead assure each other constantly how their views are correct by "common sense". As the errors compound they inevitably drift further and further from reality, and yet are more and more certain they are right because "everyone I know agrees with me".
" "To call a man an animal is to flatter him: He is a machine, a walking dildo, a biological mishap." "
LOL
WOW, I bet she'd be a fun date! :-)
I do suspect that most men wouldn't mind being treated like "a walking dildo".
LOL
The fact that Sweden feels it necessary to have a Minister of Equality tells me all I need to know about this liberal mecca
And speaking of mecca, how can these feminist dingbats in the West say with a straight face that men are animals, yet not say a word about the treatment of women at the hands of men under the rules of the religion of peace?
They alos hat women. And adults.
(Denny Crane: "Sometimes you can only look for answers from God and failing that... and Fox News".)
If men are walking Dildo's then women are merely sprem receptacles. Hell: I can get nasty too.
Men who have gotten the dirty end of the stick by women are just as plentiful as women who have gotten a raw deal.
