Can you Imagine the french doing ANYTHING! Well, they did sink, intentionally, mind you, that Greeanpeace ship in NZ, what, about 20 years ago?
To: Extremely Extreme Extremist
"Totally agree. The Doors are vastly overrated."In today's society they are, but when they were performing in the 60's & 70's they weren't all that great.
If my memory serves me right.

Does this mean Keith Richards might actually be alive also??

Well, he's still walking upright and playing guitar, but then again, that doesn't necessarily mean he's alive.

Pitts, who met Morrison in 1998, says the rocker staged his death because of a French conspiracy to kill him Morrison did fake his death but he died later in a monastery:
Didn't Morrison have some felony charges pending in Florida when he disappeared / died?

When the right-side entertainers caucus meets on the other side, Jimi Hendrix will have a place of honor -- but he may not have much company!
To: Bird Jenkins
HA! None of those pics on the website look anything like him to me even with age.

I met Morrison a couple of times when I was living in Venice before he got famous and believe me, he didn't look anything like the publicity photos. Of course he was pretty wasted but think stringy, greasy hair and none of the definition that's usually in his pictures. While he was skinny his face was a lot more bloated than in his photos.
Of course I'm probably not a good guage since I'm a guy but heck, I've seen pictures that made Charlie Manson look good (another fella I ran into in Venice a couple of times and that dude was UGLY).
Strange days for sure.

French conspiracy to kill him, Janis Joplin and Jimi Hendrix with narcotics because they were all Vietnam war protestors. Huh??? They were most certainly not. Morrison had "Five to One" as a musical protest against war in general. But to my knowledge neither he nor Hendrix ever attended a single protest.

Comparisons: Bend of the nose and chin are identical. Looks like he got an eye job, which always make people not look like themselves.

Haha, very true. Being straight/sober might have something to do with it, too!
I'm not sure he ever was.
The only "famous" person I met during that time was Arnold and man, was he one big sucker and looked just like his photos. I lived very close to the original Gold's Gym and Muscle Beach the first year (I'm pretty sure it was the first year but I might have been, uh, suffering from Morrison syndrome) he was training for Mr. Olympia and I swear he was bigger than he looked in Pumping Iron.
Great photo, thanks.

The only famous person I ever saw was Paul Rogers of Bad Co.
He was looking at guitars in Chuck Levine's store in DC and I walked right past him without knowing who he was.
My guitar player boyfriend of the time yanked me backwards so I could properly stare and be impressed.
Whatever.....;))
The entire casts of all the Gods & Generals/Gettysburg films were wandering around the town near where I live for months and although I drove by the building they were using as scenes for indoor shooting several times a week, I never once slowed down to see any of them.
I reckon I'm not a "Hollywood" type of person....:)
