Haha, very true. Being straight/sober might have something to do with it, too!

I'm not sure he ever was.

The only "famous" person I met during that time was Arnold and man, was he one big sucker and looked just like his photos. I lived very close to the original Gold's Gym and Muscle Beach the first year (I'm pretty sure it was the first year but I might have been, uh, suffering from Morrison syndrome) he was training for Mr. Olympia and I swear he was bigger than he looked in Pumping Iron.

Great photo, thanks.

The only famous person I ever saw was Paul Rogers of Bad Co.

He was looking at guitars in Chuck Levine's store in DC and I walked right past him without knowing who he was.
My guitar player boyfriend of the time yanked me backwards so I could properly stare and be impressed.

Whatever.....;))

The entire casts of all the Gods & Generals/Gettysburg films were wandering around the town near where I live for months and although I drove by the building they were using as scenes for indoor shooting several times a week, I never once slowed down to see any of them.

I reckon I'm not a "Hollywood" type of person....:)
