Prime Minister of Egypt Ahmed Nazif and British Foreign Secretary Jack Straw met separately with President Bush at the White House.
A grenade thrown toward President Bush in the former Soviet republic of Georgia was live, but failed to explode because of a malfunction, the FBI said today.

Enjoy your visit to Sanity Island!
You are here now that is what matters and I for one am very glad of your company
Thanks, that's the first time I've read what he actually said. If that's the quote, then I'm pretty sure he meant 'paragon of virtue.' "Paramour of virtue" ROFL! He is such a little smarmy dork. He reminds me of the kid that everyone gave wedgies to in the 3rd grade, just because he was such a whiny brat.
The Live Threads of Senate sessions and Democrat functions are almost always a riot. I love reading the posts of all the clever people just skewering the posturing Democrats - and some RINOs too. The one today was a lot more sober than many, because it's such a serious issue.
BTW, did you or anyone else catch Laura Ingraham's segment about Bob Woodward's interview concerning Cheney as nominee the day before yesterday? She and Lee were doing spot-on imitations of Woodward that just had me rolling. And she kept playing the tape of Woodward saying 'Cheney, Cheney, Cheney, Cheney' over and over until I thought I would have to pull my car over from laughing so hard.
I think Dean has lost it big time even Alan Colmes could not agree with those comments
Haven't read through the dose yet. I think the President looks good in gray. But I think I like the contrast of dark suits better. I'm not sure.
Thanks, snugs. ;-)
(How did you like your announcement sign?)
I understand snugs... during the dark Clinton years, I thought Blair was nothing more than a Clinton wannabe-- but his support for what the US has been trying to do on the WoT cannot be overlooked IMO... and I am sincerely grateful to him for it. Domestically in UK, I'll defer to you!
I don't really think about it, I find it is the same when I read a book I do not think of the accent of the person that I am reading about.
Thank you it is a lovely photo so is the first one in that post which I snagged from Sara via Gretchen.
Woo-Hoo! Hubba Hubba!
Thanks for your words of support on this issue!!LOL
How beautiful
Those are GREAT!
I like the dark suits better, but he looks okay in pretty much anything. Can't help but contrast him with ol' Sen. Kerry, trying to look cool and not cutting it in all his fancy "outfits." W can jump into a pair of jeans and T-shirt and look great.
I didn't think there was any Democrat statement that Alan Colmes couldn't come up with some defense for, no matter how ridiculous.
what is Balboa Park? It looks wonderful
Balboa Park is up from downtown in the heart of
the city the way central park sits in NYC
Many museums, gardens, Old Globe theater, etc.
and the largest zoo in the world.
The bldgs in the park are of Spanish Moorish design.
I hate it when George and Laura leave the country, I hate it even more when they leave without each other.
Thanks for the ping, Gretchen!
I don't know if this is already known here, but, another freeper, I'll get the name for you later, on a thread about Laura Bush's up coming trip to the Middle East, posted a fact I didn't know
Did you know that the plane Mrs. Bush was on when she went to Afghanistan was called "Bright Star"?
Most appropriate!
It was great thank you very much and thanks for your help with the FRmail earlier I am looking forward to tomorrow if in a way a bit nervous.
Hi GEM, thanks for posting.
I'm so glad you got to see that article. I'm still pumped up after reading it. So many excellent points to consider, my mind is racing.
I don't mind people criticizing our W, constructive criticism that is, and this professer gave an outstanding lecture. That he was willing to share his expertise with our president makes him a good man in my book.
Pray for W and our awesome troops.
