FOXNEWS POLL: Go to website to vote..

:) love the pic and the caption.
I agree....Cheney is an excellent debater and he's very smart but he's not interested in the presidency. I think we should just respect his wishes and let him do what he wants to do after they are done in the White House. He wants to fish and spend time with his family. :-}
I'm still a little ticked at him over Specter. But I figure Bush put his boot on his throat to support him over Toomey. I'll keep an eye out and pay closer attention.
Gracias, as they say in Chicago.
No. A ticket of General Tommy Franks and Condi Rice gets my vote.
Agreed, except I would never support Frist. I might post why at some point. No way.
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.. be still my heart.
I like'a that.
ROFL!! Same here.
I don't think I'll have much impact on his final decision other than to let him know he has support if he decides to run. (And I'm a nobody.)
Therefore, I have exactly as much influence on that as I do on his decision to go fishhing......Nada, zilch, kein, none....:>)
Frist is another brilliant, organized conservative (about a 90% ACU rating).
My concern is his speaking ability. He'd have to work on it.
Conservatives need the forthright leadership of a statesman who will inspire youthful voters. Cheney is not that person. Although Cheney is reasonable and rational, he is a boring communicator. On the other hand, America does not need Republican and conservative representives who are hystrionic orators like the insane-inane Democrats. Republicans really a statesman leader who can persuasively articulate conservative values and counter-punch the Democrats' outrageous leftist demagoguery.
McCain is articulate and he appeals to the general voting population. BUT, (the "but monkey") McCain "co-habits" with the disloyal opposition.
What do you all think of Mitt Romney (Repub. gov of Mass)?
If Condi Rice is not on the ticket, you can start saluting Pres. H. Clinton.
Pawlenty-Santorum.
Or maybe Santorum-Pawlenty.
Those are our best possible tickets. Both candidates are pro-life, pro-gun, pro-tax cuts and pro-War on Terror, ensuring a strong turnout from conservatives, and would give us a better-than-even chance of winning in Governor Pawlenty's home state of Minnesota (plus bordering states of Wisconisn and Iowa and maybe nearby Michigan) and Senator Santorum's home state of Pennsylvania (plus bordering states of Ohio, West Virginia and maybe New Jersey).
I don't know Franks politics that well. But I love his Military expertise.. how about SOD?
Condi, would like to see more of her.. I think this SOS position will help to further establish her and her strengths, but will have to wait and see. Just need to see more of everyone and understand their positions on foreign AND DOMESTIC policies. I'll not blindly support anyone. Some Goppers think we've got no where else to go, but sadly they are wrong. I'm perfectly happy to save my dollars and watch it all on TV if there is not a candidate that shares my strongest views and has a record of proof. That's the problem with Condi or Franks.. there is no voting record. Perhaps she will run for Govenor??
Nah. Time for some new blood. I appreciate Cheney's service, but I think he would be another Bob Dole at the top of a ticket.
My father lived for almost 20 years with his pacemaker. I've had heart trouble myself. If he felt that bad, he wouldn't have run for re-election.
True, he's not Mr. Excitement. We need someone who can find a pulse and have one too..
"If Condi Rice is not on the ticket, you can start saluting Pres. H. Clinton."
That's a good point.
Yes she would. Wonder if she would step down from SOS to challenge Feinstein in '06. I don't think Bill Jones is ever going to get the job...
