Agreed. Perhaps he could serve as SOS.

The invasion from the illegals from the south has started full throttle. Texas, NM, AZ, and CA will soon be predominately illegal Hispanic. Legal Hispanics, Whites and Blacks will be in the complete minority as illegal Hispanics invade into those states. Slowly they will vote, elect only illegal Hispanics and take over the state, local, and national offices in those states, simply on the illegal votes alone. Evidence: LA has elected their first Hispanic mayor yesterday. How many of those were illegal aliens voting?

AND BEFORE anyone starts yelling racism re Hispanics, I have nothing against Hispanics. I have many Hispanic friends. One of my best friends is Hispanic. He even gripes about all the illegals. His family immigrated legally here from Columbia over 25 years ago. I am talking about illegal Hispanics electing government officials in these states. And, yes, with CA and their silly voting rules, illegals are voting there in droves.

Change his oil, rotate his tires and Cheney is good for another 100,000 miles.
(but I don't think he wants the # 1 job)

You're right. It's already happened in CA. If Blacks think for one minute the LaRaza crowd intends to include them in their vision, they better think again. That so called 'blunder' spouted by Vincente Fox last week should raise the hairs on everyone's neck.

How about Donald H. Rumsfeld?

I personally like Rummy, but I'm afraid he has taken the blame for everything that has gone wrong in Iraq, and there have been some, in spite of the successes. No use in bringing in any baggage to 2008 that is not necessary. He has served his country well, though.

Let's assume that Cheney is cleared healthwise to run for the WH, and that Bush wants him to get it. Logically, then you wouyld look for Bush to retire after the 2006 election..let Cheney step up and have the advantage of incumnbancy..Man..it' d be worth it just to hear the DUmmies go apes**t..

Is his health okay? Twelve plus years in the Whitehouse will wear down even the healthiest of people.

Unless his brains been transplanted into a 35 yr old body, I think you seriously over-estimate modern-medicine and the cumulative effects of stress and age.

I have no problem with Cheney. What I worry about is *historically* it is likely that we will lose the white house next time. Now, the political environment has changed drastically, so I am no longer sure that there is historical precedence to be worried about this. The dems are in freefall and show no signs of stopping. But we must stay vigilant and take nothing for granted.

I do no fear Hillary running. She would lose. I actually hope they pick her.

I lean for Condi right now. She is everything the libs hate. I think she would attract a lot of new voters and swing voters.

It so early so this is mostly for fun. Im still catching my breath from the last election!

Me too.. from the debacle of 2000, 9/11, Iraq, the special election in 2002 (recall of Gray Davis), Soros, MoveOn, Kerry and the other 8 dwarves, France, the UN, and 2004 has taken a lot of attention.

The problem as I see it is the alien vote... Fox is pushing for aliense to participate in the election process legal or not. 2006 will be a make or break year I think, and by 2008, the citizen only voice may be silenced, or severely comprimised by the radical hispanic lobbies, and those that fund them.

I am curious what the fraud vote was in the LA mayors race.

Rick, Rick, he's the man. If he can't do it, no one can.

Newest cheer for US Sen. Rick Santorum (R-Pa.), who not only is articulate, he has a lovely family, kids, wife, etc.

He would probably make a better VP candidate, considering his young(er) age.

As for VP Cheney, I love him like a favorite uncle, but the only vote he would excite at this stage is the geriatric set.

The GOP should (must) continue to nominate candidates with fire in the belly, ones with vigor and stamina. And of course they must be ardent conservatives.

PS: John McCain should consider playing 'slow boat to China' with all his Demo buds. Hopefully the boat will spring a leak and never return.

VP Cheney is a devastating debater and a brilliant man....a genius with leadership ability and a plan.

It's a rare combination and a great opportunity for our nation.

My second choice is Frist if he fixes this judiciary filibuster thing.

A good foot soldier but he has been demonized to the point that he can't win.
