Besides the Riddler, I remember him playing a bad guy in an old Charlie's Angels episode where they were on the Love Boat. Well, not really the "Love Boat" but they used the same set.

RIP Frank Gorshin
Everything you ever did was worth the price of the ticket and then some!
Thank you for bringing smiles to my face
You will never be forgotten.

That was one of the best Star Trek eps ever! And I remember watching from the original season.
Frank was a native of Pittsburgh PA, by the way. Our local papers always included that fact when they reported on his success in other parts of the country.
I remember seeing him in a nightclub in San Fran circa 1974, he gave a good show.

I miss the old 'Burgh of the sixties. That house looks exactly like a typical Pittsburgh city homestead. But the city's finances have tanked since then. Pittsburgh is fighting bankruptcy and city unions who are bleeding the city dry and high taxes and a bad bond rating and folks fleeing to the suburbs and crime....well, you know the score.

I have a feeling even though his birthdate says 1934 he was a bit older
To: Lib-Lickers 2
Maybe. The ABC radio news story said 72. A friend of mine dropped dead at 58 last week, total surprise. 72 is not bad.

probably makes him the youngest villian on Batman(32 years old),, he looked very old ten years ago,, and if he was born in 1934 he was 71 years old(I think his agent fudged his age when he started out)
To: Borges
Did he just recently star in a one man show playing George Burns? I bet it was great.
To: earlyamerican
if Frank was in a scene he was the one you paid attention to,,,,,, great talent
To: Borges
He's always been a favorite of mine. Hate to hear of his passing (it was confirmed on the news a moment ago). His impressions were some of the best in the business. RIP, Frank.
