Don't forget Voinivich when talking about stabbing the President in the back---he is doing it over and over re: Bolton!

I will surely find out. I sure hope Graham is in there telling them NOT to compromise, but I'm not holding out much hope.

REPEAT:

Damn straight. A Republican can disagree with the President but under NO cicumstances will I tolerate betrayal.

ANY Republican that thinks he will win high office by stabbing the knife in the President's back is going to be educated when they lose in stunning defeat. Hear that Mccain? hear that Hagel and Chafee?

This president has won my Respect. I don't agree with everything but I will NEVER tolerate abuse toward him to curry favor with the MSM.

Perfect... Thanks for writing this.

WTH happened to Graham? He seemed so, well, MANLY during the impeachment proceedings. I really thought he was one of the good guys.

I'm furious. I WILL Donate, work for Dem campaigns, I will do Anything to defeat any Republican that stabs the President, these justices, the Constitution and the base in the back.

Just think how scary that is: you do realize, of course, that posters like you and I are consider "the mushy middle" by the "real, true conservatives," right?

If they pi$$ us off, IMO they are lost.

Better.

Talking about 95% again.

(That's close to the same percentage he personally bankrolled to buy his senate seat.)

I guess what I am asking is, whether there will be an announced "compromise" involving letting only "x" amount of nominees be brought up in exchange for keeping the filibuster for the SCOTUS ...

No. That would be political suicide for the GOP. Losing this battle outright would be less damaging than that compromise.

You know, you have a really good grasp of what is going on, but I guess I don't, or can't communicate it well, so I doubt if I have expressed myself well enough, I apologize.

No need to apologize. I'm just trying to communicate clearly. I'm not embarrased to admit I don't get it, or don't understand a question, etc. If you find one of my answers to be unresonsive to your question, say so. Rephrase, whatever. You'll find that I shun label though, and prefer to describe the underlying "thing" or "action" instead of using the common label. E.g., "filibuster" is a label that I don't like. It can be a VERY indefinite term, where two people use the same word to mean two very different things.

That's NOT going to work this time with this group: WE worked hard to give them THIS chance........and we want it NOW.

Or they will forever be (at least to me) MINOs.
