The first election results are in...mail ballots only.
Rounding off the numbers, it come out to 51% for Villaraigosa and 49% for Hahn.
Do these numbers look better for either candidate?
Opinions anyone?
All of them.
Hahn is a liberal, but has a modicum of sense and he was a crimfighter.
Villaraigosa was a leader of the So California ACLU or something like that and a great defender of gangs. He opposed it, when Hahn tried to crack down on them.
Wonderful.
I'm wondering how many R's who use to beat on Riordan for being too liberal would like to see him back again.

But please note, prefering Riordan to Villariagosa is like prefering a root canal to exploratory brain surgery. It's not a matter of "like", it's a matter of "fear less".
