Wrong, Islam as a "religion" preaches hatred and murder, go read up on it if you're in doubt. Anyone who upholds this inherets it's values, thus, a religious muslim believes in Dhimmihood for the Christian/Jew and for extermination or conversion by the sword for all non-believers. 1300 years of history upholds this point. Only some one who is ignorant, willfully blind or shilling for Islamics can ignore that fact.
Lets say that the extremists are 10%, sound small? Well that means that there are 100 MILLION people who are out to exterminate us. Now, the Nazies were never more then about 10% but the rest of the Germans were guilty by association for not stopping them.
Are you guilty by association for not stopping abortionists, homosexual deviants, pornographers, or people voting Democrat?
Apples and oranges, how ever bad there actions are, they are not actively invading other nations and calling for the extermination of other peoples. Try another strawman.

Ture. But the "herd instinct" in them is very strong on issues regarding any perceived threat or insult to their religion. The recent episode regarding Newsweak illustrates that.

Agreed. The average Muslim probably views their only choice as being that between extreme religious radicals or totally corrupt despots like the "President" of Egypt, or the Mafia-like "Family" of the Sauds. And they view the west as a collaborator and supporter of the latter.

I would extend upon that. Also, Muslims are not inherently evil people, but the belief system they follow is an inherently violent and militant one.
Long before the Crusades, militant Muslims had swept away Christian rule and Christian majorities in the Middle East, North Africa, the Iberian Penninsula, southern Italy and Sicily and threatened even souther France. The Crusades were a direct outgrowth of Islam following the basic tenets of its belief system. Even after the Crusade,s there were further attacks on Christiandom in the Balkans, the Mediterranean, and piratical raids as far north as Britain and Ireland.
Islam was a prime mover in the slave system in eastern and northern Africa, and forceful spread of Islam occurred there as late as the last century.
And they are still pushing.

My main disagreement with you is that you seem to lump all Muslims into one group: them.
If all your comments were associated only with Islamic terrorists then I would agree with them 100% (or almost 100%.) But then you wouldn't have to qualify the word terrorist with "Islamic".
It is the terrorists that we are fighting ... of whatever political or religious bent. We should oppose Conservative and Christian terrorists as well ... if there are such things.
Hmmm, how about the governments of Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Jordan, etc who proscribe death to those who convert or sell land to none-muslims? How about the government and military of Sudan who actively exterminate and enslave the people of south Sudan who are Christian? How about the people of Eritria, the arabs who turned and started butchering the Orthodox Christians there as soon as they became independent. My Church has 3 families of the survivors. How about the spontaneous mobs who are resposable for upto a thousand dead Orthodox christians in Egypt a year? So, who's the terrorist and who's the moderate? Oh and most of these nations are not Wahhabists.

It is all about the sense of guilt being wisely exploited by modern multiculturalists. IMHO, their case rests upon two major assumptions:
1) WASPs and such (the ex-oppressors) are made guilty of their past, which makes it easier to control them and thus to use them as an object of social engineering
2) the other side (the ex-victims) are empowered and positively discriminated which shall make them grateful to the social engineers and hence - better integrating into and coming to terms with the society they live in (and of course more prone to social engineering as well)
(By ex-victims here I mean ethnic and/or religious minorities only).
However the latter point, being so clear in mind of social engineers (some sort of unwritten public agreement), is a product of their western culture-based mind. If the empowered minority comes from the different cultural background, the point somehow transmogrifies into "you have to give up and I will not".
Or you can put it like this. "When you borrow, you always take someone's else money. When you return your debt, you give away yours." :)
