NBC and MSNBC that's who. And tonight, my jaw dropped open (again...) watching ol Chris matthews try to explain this one away. This one, which is going to take more American lives.
I think Washington Post owns them.
Isnt Eleanor Clift one of the editorialists?
On MSNBC right on KO's Countdown he and Craig Crawford are saying Newsweek was setup by the White House.
Correct.
That's what I thought, too. I wonder why MSNBC never mentions them as a "co-partner" in their network.
Again the MSM is admitting they were beaten up by their designated "world's dumbest leader".
"On MSNBC right on KO's Countdown he and Craig Crawford are saying Newsweek was setup by the White House."
You have got to be kidding...
If there was a setup then it was by the Pentagon. I wouldn't be surprised--Rope-A-Doping the left is like shooting fish in a barrel. The Pentagon official that looked over the story didn't deny anything, but more importantly he didn't confirm anything. He's got ample cover--"I never confirmed the story", and Newsweak is left swinging in the breeze. If I had the opportunity to hang the MSM by their own rope I'd take it in a heartbeat.
Oh boy, I'm waithing for Carl Rove to be blamed for Newsweek's accessory to murder charges.
It's Bush's fault.
Never walk toward a bucket of crap with blind hatred in your eyes. You might fall in it.
I usually check out the babes on the covers while purchasing my groceries. Who, in their right mind, would buy a leftist news rag that's a week old - or more?
Did you watch Hardball, before KO's show?
I knew that Chrissy would be heartbroken that Newsweek wouldn retract the story...but, what I did see made me furious.
First, he mentioned at the first of the show that NBC and Newsweek have an "intenet" agreement or somesuch...half-assed disclaimer.
Anyway, he had all libs of course, Robin Wright of NYT, some lib ex-CIA buy, I think, and this youngish looking guy (don't remember his name), that was supposed to be some kind of terrorism expert...
Well, Chrissy was clucking his tongue about the hoopla the article has caused and during some point in the conversatation that terrosism expert said something like, "using religious persecution never was a good thing to do, and as you can tell FROM THIS INCIDENT, using religious persecution has deadly consequences." That was a paraphrase, but it was enough for me---
The whole point is that this was a made up story, and Chris has this guy on talking about how wrong it is for the military to USE this religious persecution---Chris didn't correct him...
Instead, he turned to Robin Wright and asked her what she thought, and she gave a long explanation that back in 2003 there WAS a report that this happened and people HAD known, and blah, blah, blah---IOW, the whole show was a CYA for Newsweek!
Can't they be sued for libel or slander or something because of this remark? It's amazing that in this country a radio personality like Howard Stern can be sued for saying "shit", yet these "journalists" can say any outrageous lies they want and get away with it.
The FCC should start revoking licenses of places that are caught in traitorous lies.
I think the people at Newsweek responsible for this ought to be on a plane right now to go tell the mob/rioters/protestors in Afghanistan that they're the ones who screwed up and they're really, really sorry. I know it won't happen, but it would be nice if it did.
"On MSNBC right on KO's Countdown he and Craig Crawford are saying Newsweek was setup by the White House."
Seriously, you've got to be kidding. Was Karl Rove mentioned specifically?
Keith Olbermann really should add Art Bell as a co-host of his show---
Oh...it gets better.
They are owned by WaPost. They are featured by MSNBC/NBC news web sites.
Add to that....NY Times who works quite a bit with the WAPost.....
It is easy to see how they all run the same hit pieces on conservatives.
They all work together to push a liberal agenda.
