On MSNBC right on KO's Countdown he and Craig Crawford are saying Newsweek was setup by the White House. If there was a setup then it was by the Pentagon. I wouldn't be surprised--Rope-A-Doping the left is like shooting fish in a barrel. The Pentagon official that looked over the story didn't deny anything, but more importantly he didn't confirm anything. He's got ample cover--"I never confirmed the story", and Newsweak is left swinging in the breeze. If I had the opportunity to hang the MSM by their own rope I'd take it in a heartbeat.

This story has become a major outrage not only because people rioted and died but because the new media,us, talk radio a few t.v. nets is not kicking the sh!!t out of the old media. Talk radio ,Laura, Sean were all over this today and you see the result. We will rule the day it may just take a while. New media will Trump old media

The Pentagon official that looked over the story didn't deny anything, but more importantly he didn't confirm anything. If the Pentagon spokesman had any comment like, "That's a damn lie," or "Your source is full of (bleep)," then Newsweak would have cried censorship or strongarming by the Pentagon.
In any event, I'm not surprised that many left/libs are blaming it on the Bush administration somehow.
