Great news. The liquor stores in my state have to buy from a very limited number of state approved wholesalers. Has made for high prices, limited selection, and a few guaranteed millionaires.

Did the have to cite foreign law for this decision?

I wonder what the state's righters and federalists will have to say about all of this.

This is promising news for the Second Amendment - at least five justices understand that "regulate" means "to make regular."

Kennedy was joined in his opinion by Justices Antonin Scalia, David H. Souter, Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Stephen G. Breyer. Wow! How strange. Scalia teams up with the bad guys to strike a blow for liberty, while Stevens joins the (normally) good guys to promote the nanny state.

Looks like Costco is going to win their lawsuit in Washington state. Now maybe Two Buck Chuck really will be two bucks, and not three!

This ruling ends one commerical distribution advantage that French wines had over local Alabama and Texas and California and Washington/Oregon wines...now local American wineries can ship their wines anywhere in the U.S.

I'll believe it when I see it here in Utah. Those Utah boys are making way too much money in the state liquor stores to allow this to happen.
They even stop cars coming in from Arizona and other places to see if the bottles have their silly little green label on them.

It was against the law? God I hate laws passed by dry Protestants. Jesus turned water into wine people!
