Suspect's kin vanish Garcia-Gomez's mom, other relatives may have fled to Mexico
By Fernando Quintero, Rocky Mountain News May 16, 2005
LOS ANGELES - The mother of the man accused of killing a Denver police detective and wounding his partner has fled to Mexico, neighbors say, raising speculation that she might have joined her son in his attempt to avoid prosecution for murder by leaving the country.
Neighbors say Gregoria Gomez, mother of suspect Raul Garcia-Gomez, lived in the house on the 6700 block of Makee Street in south- central Los Angeles where her son's alleged getaway car was found.
Oh, you'll see 'em again. They'll be back to commit yet more crimes that Americans don't want to do...
Hey how about "Vincente you remember that aid package that you usually get each year? Either this guy is returned across the border or it won't be coming".
From what I keep hearing in the news there are some 4,000 wanted murderers living in the safe haven of Mexico.
Yes, he'll come back as raul garcia or gomez garcia in another town doing the jobs and committing the crimes ordinary americans don't want to...
Good riddance!
Yeah but they just killed regular ole people not cops so they won't get any attention. They really aren't that important, I mean if your grandmother gets killed who is going to raise the 100,000 reward and raise a stink over the old bag being killed? Now if a man with a gun and backup gets killed that is something to really get upset about.< /sarcasm>
This kind of stink ought to be raised over all 4000 murders many of unarmed citizens. This doesn't even account for the serial rapists that are over them. It is pitiful it isn't and is swept under the rug.
Illegals/Border Ping
Didn't they leave a forwarding address where their Social Security can be mailed to them?
Mexico wants the Marine who held Illegal Alien trespassers at gunpointon his property turned over!
I believe he was at a rest stop not on his property. Is this a different one.
I used to think as you do and still give it much credence. The murder of loved ones/civilians IS important. I have come to the conclusion over time however that members of law enforcement represent the "line in the sand". As things seem to get worse and worse it becomes more important to use any means to get scumbags like this. A big enough reward may motivate someone to bag him and bring him back across the porous border.
Some one needs to make those havens a lot less safe!!!
So much for being 'subject to the jurisdiction thereof', as that often abused & misused line in the Constitution phrases it.
Our government has no interest in finding this killer.
The only one I want to see is the killer. And I want to see him wearing a noose.
Maybe that Dog guy we see on TV.....
susie
This is really too bad.....they didn't even stick around to take advantage of Bush's free health plan coverage. Not to mention reduced rates on college tuition. What a loss to the US economy.
In the "Bloggers" forum, I posted a "Boycott Mexico" thread, and I personally, am done with this crap. Mexico can do without my business, and I didn't realize how many things I have come from Mexico, but no longer. I will not hire them, I will not buy their products, I will no longer go the vacation spots in Mexico, and I especially will not support their "harboring fugitives" & murderers. They are not good neighbors, and that is because their government sends the wrong message to the people. Oh BTW, I will report any illegals approaching anyone in my company, or applying for a job, or just for standing on the street corner. I have had enough.
