In a very dirty mayor race in Longview TX, the run off is between two Republicans.. One a RINO, Dr. Mack, and one a conservative, Jay Dean.
The democrat who lost in the first round decided (surprise surprise) to endorse the RINO, Mack..
Here is the fun part, you can decide if it is a typo or media bias..

Is that media bias, or a threat?

Is that media bias, or a threat?I think the newspaper could be liable! That is defamation of character, not a very fair and balanced writing.

(If their Chief of police is okay with it, I am guessing that we should probably be okay with it.)

Your story is from a TV news site. They are notorious for poor editing. Take a look at the link below.
Truck Driver Makes Efforts to Stop Wreckless Trucker
Wreckless? It goes on to say, Some 60 miles back on Interstate 85 Patterson encountered a trucker driving eratically.

I know some of the people at KLTV. They are far from liberal.

I would normally be the first one to defend a typo but this is not likely a typo. Typing mistakes come from hitting the wrong key. Touch typists always use the same fingers for certain keys. For instance, the "d" key is always hit with the second finger of the left hand. Frequent mistakes with this finger for the letter "d" would include e,3,c, an occasional s or f but not an n. The "n" is produced from the index finger of the right hand.
If the typist is simply a "hunt and pecker" then we still have letters on opposite sides of the keyboard.
Certainly any typo can be made regardless of where the keys come from but that particular one is extremely unlikely.

It's a type caused but hunt and peckers with spell check...I know, I'm one!
When typing "Dean", I type "Deab" or "Deam", or "Deaj", or "Deah"...you get the idea. "Dean" and "dead" are spelling suggestions for each mistake. Easy mistake, I've done it million times.
