Our Germans were better than their Germans.

The life that I have
Is all that I have
And the life that I have
Is yours.

The love that I have
Of the life that I have
Is yours and yours and yours.

A sleep I shall have
A rest I shall have
Yet death will be but a pause.

For the peace of my years
In the long grass
Will be yours and yours and yours.

(Poem by Leo Marks to Violette Szabo as her cipher key before she was parachuted into occupied France)

I duff my cap in silent remembrance of those heroes who unarmed and out of uniforms ventured all, risking torture and death to fight against total evil.

(...and now we learn that even in death they were betrayed by their masters. Words fail me.)

For those who are interested in war time SOE the book Between Silk and Cyanide by Leo Marks is a must read.

God will deal with him later. I am glad that I have faith in God because without it/him/her the world would be a bleak and unjust place.

The result is always the same. Lay down with dogs, get up with fleas. (Now, if the prize is worth the fleas...then go for it...but if not, then you're an ass who screwed up)

Espionage appears to be a dirty business. If Laverenty Beria had defected to the West, we would have welcomed him.

This article is written in an absurd way. Spies are shot in wartime.

What do you think happened to Germans who spied against the Allies?

When you remember we pardoned all the Japanese doctors involved in Unit 731, engaged in Human experiments in biological warfare, this is pretty small potatoes.
