Syria launched a military build up on its Iraq border after the American Army began a wide-ranging military operation in a region in Iraq near the Syrian border.
Eyewitnesses in this area reported that they heard canon, warplane and bombing sounds coming from Al Kaim Township and its surroundings.
Local inhabitants reported that Syrian armored vehicles went to the border region with soldiers in them. Eyewitnesses noted that the tension in the region is quite high, and they added that they are anxious due to heavy American bombardment in the Ak Kaim region and Husayba Town.

Maybe a stray PGM will go across the border and take out a tank or three! The Yuma bombing zone has had trouble with illegals.
Maybe the Warthogs, F16s should be based in Iraq and drop practice bombs on fake targets in Syria -- such as things that look like tanks, armored personnel carriers, artillery.
It might also reduce the bombings in Bagdad...

"Time to go after Syria"
I agree, but I don't expect anything much will happen on that front. In a sane world we would be wiping out the Islamo-fascist Baaths in Syria already and taking care of the Bekka Valley while we were at it. Unfortunately the frenzy from the Euro-twits and our own demagogues will make it unlikely that we take any serious steps against Baby Assad. I'd prefer to see Syria turned into a "4th world" country after how they've sheltered and supported the terrorists killing our people in Iraq....

Time for an A-10 flight right down the border -- with a couple of 1-second GAU-8 bursts for "Show'n'tell"...
If that doesn't prompt a rapid withdrawal, then, "Right turn, Clyde..."

Enough already yet!
We've warned them enough. Destroy all the arms and the cities on the border that harbor them.
Then inform Syria's arrogant leader that we have some more hungry for Damascus.

I got a btter one. I am wondering if we are also on covert ops in Syria to hunt WMD and the Syrians found out.
