(Excerpt) Read more at foxnews.com ...
it is a damn hoot to watch the liberals whine about this mass murdering piece of crap who stated to all the world his wish to die and yet most of them defended Michael Schiavo on killing his innocent wife on his word only

WHY? ROT IN HELL ANIMAL. GOD HAVE MERCY ON THIER YOUNG SOULS.
The last one was 45 years ago...
Shame it wasn't done with a weedeater!
AWESOME. New England, you sickly blue cesspool, there may be hope for you yet.
Burn, baby, burn.

Does this mean that Connecticut may be turning into a red state?
I doubt it, Liberalism is firmly entrenched there. The Hartford Courant is a N. Y. Times wannabe newspaper. The Governor and 3 Republican congressmen are hardcore RINO's. The 2 Democrat congressmen are hard lefties and prissy Chrissy Dodd is one of the Senator's.
MSNBC now playing a Dark Heart Iron Hand show about the now dead killer.

I have struggled with the idea of capital punishment for years. I believe in the sanctity of life. I know that, personally, I could never partake in this process. But the morality is different when it comes to capital punishment. I understand both sides. Every individual must decide for him or herself. Even so, I will remind everyone that it is still something for serious contemplation and not a situation for jokes, for politicizing, or for simple ignorant relishing of death to the guilty.
OK, now let's execute the murderer of little Samantha Runnion out in California. I'm more than a little worried about that California jury. They've been out a day. I'm hoping Friday the 13th turns out to be the unluckiest day of that pig Avila's life. Fry the bastard.
This is as close we'll get to justice in this world.
I've been avoiding that story. I hurts too much to think about what that little angel went through.
DAMN
Gary Lee Sampson was sentenced to _federal_ death row on 12/24/03. He confessed to killing 2 men from Mass. and one from N.H.

>>Federal law was changed in 1994 to allow prosecutors to seek the death penalty when a murder is committed during a carjacking.
>>Death penalty opponents criticized the sentence, saying federal officials had ignored the will of Massachusetts voters. State lawmakers have repeatedly defeated attempts to reinstate the state death penalty
...though voters wanted the death penalty restored. When the Mass. Legislature voted on it, Rep. John Slattery
(D-Peabody) _switched sides at the last minute_, "because, he said, of the possibility of an innocent person being executed" (SLATTERY WILL GET YOU NOWHERE)
Personally, though, I love executions. Wish they'd bring back the chair in most states; a little more bang for the taxpayers' buck, please.

I can't believe a jury could come up with anything but death for that man--but there are some idiots out there.
I prefer firing squad, publically televised. Hey, there's one use for PBS!
Not only would it discourage criminals, it would show the reality of what happens when you pull a trigger. Despite that, I doubt we'd ever run out of volunteers for the squads.
This relativistic way of explaining, albeit not the thought itself, would be what I would expect from a Duer. On this side, we should be able to do better than that.
Thinking the victims has me so depressed, but this story cheered me up a bit.
