"What about the text "Next Time" and the Plane embedded in the building?"

I don't like that either, ONE BIT!

I'm the first to make a joke when it's appropriate--nothing funny about this. We don't have Mallard Fillmore cartoons showing us nuking the Dome of the Rock or the Taj Mahal...

Does Hannity provide transcripts? That would be a good way to post it.

I will do a search.

I would say that that is a threat to the President of the United States. I hope the FBI and Secret Service get all over the writer of that strip and editors.

Yes, I see it here: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,156334,00.html

I just tried posting it; but Fox news has to be excerpted. I chopped up so much of the interview trying to excerpt it that it wasn't worth it.

I will look to see if anyone blogged it. Than that can be posted and the interview added as a supporting post.

interesting....

I have no doubt that some in the Arab world do think that way, but I seriously seriously doubt it is near a majority. Maybe a plurality, but quite a few of them have their own things to worry about.....

We shouldnt concentrate just on the Mexican border. It is much easier to fly someone into the country then attempt to sneak them through Mexico....

This cartoon may have been picked up by an Arab newspaper or website, but I'll give dollars to donuts that it was drawn right here in the US of A by a non-muslim.

Really, the whole point of the cartoon is that the CIA has become ineffectual. That's all it's saying. On the other hand I understand why lots of us could take offense.

If you lived here in Korea, you would have seen much worse. Like a local newspaper's 30 second TV advert where a plane heading toward the twin towers is diverted at the last minute when a thoughtful Korean passenger gives the Arab hijacker a copy of the paper's Sunday comics section and he breaks down in mirth.

Now, THAT'S offensive.

How do you know what the whole point of the cartoon is?

Your attention was drawn to the CIA agent.

My attention was drawn to the 'Next Time'.

And why would a non-Mulsim sign his name in Arabic?

If it was a US cartoonist, wouldn't he want his readers to know of his work?

And I did a few searchs for other sites that might carry it, I can't find any.

>>>If you lived here in Korea, you would have seen much worse.

Korea has a streaming media site where they post all their propaganda commericials. I've seen enough of them.

If the cartoonists name is in arabic (I can't tell), I stand utterly corrected as to the origin of this item.

Nevertheless, and without trying to say that is cartoon is inoffensive (a position I am NOT taking), it is still clear to me that is thrust is toward the ineffectiveness of the CIA. The "next time" was just to distinguish it from the "last time". The cartoon would have been just as effective without these words. I don't think the "next time" has the significance that you think it is meant to have.

"And Bush was kissing and holding hands with them..."Are you talking about GW holding hands with Sheik(what's his name) from Saudi Arabia?I saw that on Fox,and it struck me as a very odd thing for GW to do.I think someone on the WH staff(PR?)must be advising him to do that.
