Freeper to Appear on MSNBC at 5 p.m., RE: Bolton Nomination (5/12/05)
Thursday, May 12, 2005 | Kristinn

Posted on 05/12/2005 12:17:35 PM PDT by kristinn

MSNBC has invited me to represent FR on Connected Coast to Coast with Ron Reagan and Monica Crowley today to discuss the nomination of John Bolton to be ambassador to the United Nations.

The segment should air live between 5 p.m. and 5:15 p.m. EDT, barring any breaking news that might bump the discussion.

With the Free Republic poll showing 92% of FReepers supporting his nomination, I thinks it's safe to represent FR as being in favor of his confirmation.

Feel free to add any points, preferably with supporting links, to help with the discussion.

I'll be heading over to the studio around 4:30, so that gives about an hour. I was not able to see the hearing today as I don't get C-SPAN 3.

I'll give you 5 bucks if you say, "John Bolton is cut from the same cloth as President Reagan--a real man that doesn't take crap from anyone....something you obviously can't handle, Junior."

This is good:
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2005/05/03/AR2005050301393.html

But while the investigation of Bolton's performance in President Bush's first term has turned up numerous examples of fierce policy disputes between the senior political appointee and lower-level career officials, no additional direct evidence of abusive behavior toward subordinates has emerged.

<>

But none of those officials who angered Bolton were punished, and in fact they were often promoted, the interviews show.

Remind them that Boltons critics are partisan hacks who actively worked against Bushs reelection. Ms. Townsel was with Moms Against Bush etc.
The democrats are only trying to protect Kofi and the UN against the Oil for Food scandal. They want it swept under the rug. Bolton wants the truth.

cuz its from the post the lib media might consider it more credible. A shame incompetants were promoted anyway...

The picture I get is of one person who 'gets it' trying to deal with an indoctrinated and obstructionist state department.
