What a further embarassment the Church has become. Why don't we just sned airplanes to third worls countrys and invite all the illegals in?

This illagal invader nonsense is getting out of control. The movie "Falling Down" will seem like nothing when the S#%^ hits the fan.

WHere does it say, "Give the alien free medical and education benefits that your own citizens cannot get for free"?

The church has nothing to "teach" you about running a country.
Go live in the Vatican if that is your perogative.

If the church wants to help out the illegal immigrants, fine. They should anyway as it is part of their teaching. But do not ask anyone not part of their church to foot the bill.

Exactly. Millions of us here are struggling and don't wan't or ask for handouts, then why should these people demand any different?

This issue will destroy us from within unlike no other. Without a war, we are losing our language and culture, only to be told by naive churchgoers that the church will make everything ok. What a F'ing joke these people are. Until you live near them and see the way these people live, scam the system, and refuse to assimilate will you realize what is going on.

The thing most don't get is that they don't want to be legal. They want to drain us of cash to send home, get programs, pay no taxes on income, and demand everything be in another language.

Employers love it because they don't have to pay worker's comp, FICA, etc etc, and can get away with murder against these people.

The church has another thing coming if they think parishners already tapped out are about to give their earnings to people destroying our culture and language.

Thank you for your kinds words. I may one day be a Vatican City resident if that's what Christ wants.

As far as prerogative, let me have the courage to say the words that Our Savior gave us:

"Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done on earth as it is in Heaven."

"We go right to the New Testament and say, him or her who is without sin cast the first stone," he said. "How many of us have not violated some laws, whatever they might have been -- either they're traffic laws or immigration laws or tax laws, something like that."

How embarassing. I remember when Mahoney was advocating helping out illegals, years ago. If McCarrick, Mahoney, and the rest of those socialists really wanted to improve illegal's lives, they would encourage them to stay in their own countries and fight to change things.

Why don't you start by taking in about 10 illegals rather than demanding the rest of us pay for this nonsense.

Another thing - turning the other cheek to often will result in your head being lopped off. I don't think that was ever the intent!

"Leviticus 19:34"

So, now that the race card normally relied on by the pro-illegal apologists/enablers has lost its zing, we can expect to see the God card used in its place?

In a statement issued Tuesday, the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops announced that it will "add the voice of the Catholic Church" to the call for major immigration legislation, including a guest-worker program and a path to citizenship for illegal aliens in the United States.

Why doesn't the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops call for economic reform in Mexico?

This isn't "the Church". The US Catholic bishops speaking about issues such as illegal immigration are not speaking for Catholics; neither are Catholics bound by church law to follow their lead on these issues. As a Catholic, I am infuriated that the bishops use their titles to advance purely political agendas, but I bristle as well when people (understandably) characterize such views as being those of "the Church".

I am a practicing Roman Catholic, so it is not anti-Catholic bias that motivates this: do not give the Catholic Bishops' Campaign for Human Development.

I don't play the race card...you obviously do, though.

Hundreds of years ago, the Catholic church made Mexico 100% Catholic -- moreover, the kind of feverant Catholic that thinks it sees the Virgin Mary in a scorched tortilla -- yet Mexico has remained a backwards-ass country full of nearly-illiterate superstitious peasants.

I demand that Cardinal McCarrick address this fact immediately without referencing his interpretation of another passage in his Bible.

Right. Here are some actual "Biblical Principles" from Deut 14:21

Ye shall not eat of any thing that dieth of itself: thou shalt give it unto the stranger that is in thy gates, that he may eat it; or thou mayest sell it unto an alien: for thou art an holy people unto the Lord thy God ...

The alien was not treated better than their own, but was to be sold potentially bad meat.
