The following is a letter Rob Galliher wrote in January 2004 and sent to Mic Hunter, a St. Paul, Minn., psychologist and author of "Abused Boys," a book on sex abuse. Galliher said he was looking for help from Hunter when he wrote the letter, which accuses Jim West of sexual abuse. Sorry I was a little brusque. I deal with a lot of homosexual apologists here. Not that they are necessary homosexual themselves (some probably are) but are supportive of their agenda. Often just due to a poor fund of knowledge.

Have you ever read Frank Peritti's books "This Present Darkness" and "Piercing the Darkness" ?

Excellent books. Fictional account of wide spread corruption in two separate communities. "This present darkness" is the first of the two (Piercing is the sequal using many of the same characters)

The books are written from a Christian perspective and deal heavily in spiritual warfare, that is, as things are happening in the physical world the book describes what the forces of good and evil are doing in the spiritual world.

From what I hear from connectthedots they apply very closley to the situation in Washington. Lots of people covering for each other, some willingly, some out of fear and some because they are trapped in the system.

Main hero of the first book is the new newspaper editor in town (town of Ashton IIRC) whose daughter gets sucked into a local cult. As he investigates he finds more and more links of corruption and evil. (even has some arkancide type plot lines in it)

Very entertaining stories, both very well written. Plan to spend the whole night reading.

Being gay certainly doesn't make you a child molestor

I know that little jeremiah and scripter supplied lots of hard data earlier in the thread. Let me just summarize it all for you:

I read these books years ago and they taught me how very important it is that Christians continue to pray.

Along with a very interesting story line that John wrote about corruption in the small towns , he describes the demons and spiritual evil that lurk, and work in the spiritual realm.

Call me weird, but I believe he called these fictional but wrote them by God's inspiration.

Is this enough?

Probably not. Its not enough to make a comment based on facts, articles, and life experience here at FR. You have to have a mountain of citable reference to the obvious before some will even consider budging from their perch of moral superiority on issues of the suffering homosexuals. I think its great that you are armed with such resources to wave before the supporters of the Homosexual Agenda.

I believe that although there are many within the homosexual community who are great contributors to society, gifted and generous, religious and humane, it is foolish to deny that there are those among their ranks who are predatory and destructive - so antithetical to an orderly society that they should cause deep concern and scrutiny of the group as a whole.

As a qualified metaphor, take the similar concerns our nation should have about Muslims. Whereas its assumed that only 10-15% of the followers of Islam want to slaughter us in our sleep, that concern should make a Christian, Jew or Nonmuslim be on guard when in the presence of any Islamist. Stereotypes seem so awful but often are the individual's first line of defense when a potential for evil is extant.
