Tony says that the Republicans are going to win the battle over judges.
Whoo hooo! Tony's sources say there won't be a deal to throw judicial nominees overboard. He says the GOP is going to WIN this one.
Tony starts out by leveling some criticism at Rev. Dobson for saying Lott is selling out and capitulating to the RATS.
Tony says not true, because of the Lott interview on his show yesterday. Tony predicts Pubs will have a victory next week. Tony mentioning all the fence-sitters, Snowe, Hagel etc. Says McCain will be voting with the RATS which will sink any presidential nomination.
Tony says this is classic case of Pubs (in the case of Dobson) trying to rip each other apart right on the verge of victory. Tony says he spoke with several senior Pubs on Capital Hill yesterday and NOBODY is going to throw the nominees overboard to make the RATS happy.
To win this vote on the judges, you've got to persuade scared Pubs that it's OK to play along. (Chaffee, Snowe, other RINO's) Tony says Lott is the one who came up with the term "nuclear option" two years ago.
Tony says this isn't the time to march in and read any riot acts. Stop letting your hair be on fire, keep your heads on straight, calm down and it will be a won deal.
So true, They are so concerned about keeping their jobs, they are forgetting to DO their jobs!
klif if playing someone else.
Tony says conservatives need to show maturity, stop beating each other up and show some patience. "It will be alright".
BUMP to all that!
LOL
Tony .. Love ya .. but as far as Trent Lott is concern??
He can kiss my irish butt and he needs to shut up!
Tony hit the nail on the head!
Please add me to your list, pb. Thanks.
LOL!! .. Tony mentioned FR
got it
But I've been calm for 5 YEARS
I am beyond being calm ..
I don't want the Pubbies to throw any more bones
I want meat .. I want them to show me they really do care about being in the Majority
Till then???
Not one Dime till Republicans grow a Spine !!
Aack, I missed that! Good for Tony mentioning FR.
Tony does a good job talking about how conservatives should contact the fence-sitters, Collins, Snowe, Hagel etc. instead of grumbling amongst themselves. Also should contact Spectre because if Specter votes with the Dims, he WILL lose chairmanship of the Judiary committee.
Tony says that even though Pubs sometimes do stupid things, they are NOT "the stupid party".
Well .. they are doing A LOT of stupid things lately :0)
