Pinging you to this scary news. Whoever's doing the Dose tonight may want to mention this. Hand grenade thrown within 100 feet of President Bush. Pin pulled. The Georgian security got it. My nerves will now be jangling until he lands safely at Andrews.

>Right and I am a she.

You know I thought of that when I hit the post button, but reasoned 'if anyone calls me on on that I'll claim a gender generic use of "he"'. I'm exercising that option now. And my apologies to you Mrs.

I think it's time we began heaping some blame on the left-wing crazies and talk show hosts who gave indirect encouragement for such an act.

Good point, Paul.

They've been stirring this pot. Time to make 'em pay for it.

It's been clarified, sorry to all if I offended anyone with my insensitive question.

The latest on Fox: the pin was pulled; it was rendered harmless (though no one said how); it hit someone in the head and was rushed away by a Georgia official of some type; no one told the US until they were already gone from the country. The Americans had no idea it had happened. The SS did not see it happen.

All of it is very strange.

"Check him for Putin's phone number."

No kidding. Don't think Putin was too happy with GW's itinerary.
