This had today's date at the AFA website, so thought maybe they had some inside information despite Lott's denial. Don't know for sure.

In otherwords the slimeballs get to change the rules and have their way when they are the majority.
Then they get to lie and whine their way into changing the rules again and getting the final word when they're the minority.
What's wrong with this picture?
I want the Constitutional Option!
Filibuster Legislation, not Appointments!

Dobson was just on Hannity and said the same thing. This appears to be in spite of Lott's denial.

No matter what, Dr. Frist should make them go on the record with a public vote so we know what everyone chooses. Pull the trigger and find out what happens.

Lott said this morning on the Snow show that he was committed to an up or down vote on the nominees.
We'll see, I guess.

"Lott has no power to broker anything."
From the article: "Lott and five other GOP senators will join six Democrats in the arrangement..."

Oh please. Lott has no power to broker anything. Sure he does. All he has to do is get a few other RINOs to go along on the whole idea of "making nice" with the Dems (which is like trying to convince Homer Simpson to go "make nice" with Moe at the bar) and it'll happen.

If he's got 5 Republicans in on this with him he's effectively cut Frist off at the knees since the group of six won't vote for the nuclear option. Consider this Lott's revenge for being tossed as majority leader. (If it's true)

What a great reminder for those who don't see a difference between Lott and Frist. The latter might plod along and not slap people up against the wall as some here wish but I don't see him as a man who is trying to make the Senate a nice place to spend ones life...like Lott.
