Sure he does. All he has to do is get a few other RINOs to go along on the whole idea of "making nice" with the Dems (which is like trying to convince Homer Simpson to go "make nice" with Moe at the bar) and it'll happen.

If he's got 5 Republicans in on this with him he's effectively cut Frist off at the knees since the group of six won't vote for the nuclear option. Consider this Lott's revenge for being tossed as majority leader. (If it's true)
