As anybody who has ever written a column for money knows, the first day is easy. You have plenty of time to think and edit. Oh, you agonize a little about the content, and a little more about the phrasing, but you have time to do that.

The second day you have to wake up typing, and publish before most people have even had a cup of coffee.

Tomorrow will be the fun day to read Ms. Huff n'puffington

Purely from a graphics design point of view..I like her home page..the look..it's far cleaner, crisper, than DRudge..

The L.A. Weekly is owned by the Village Voice. This is BIG.

I had left my radio on at home for the dog (he likes to listen to Rush) when I went out to the store. When I got back in my car Sean's show had come on. Loud mouth, no nothing, Huffington was on. I rushed home to turn the radio off because I was afraid my dog was going to commit suicide not only having to listen to her but having to listen to Sean kiss her butt.

I turned off Hannity a year or so ago. Only time he is on here is when I can't get nothing else. And I do mean nothing.

You'd think that getting her husband to turn gay would've been humiliating enough...

I can still see her chasing Arnie on the day he announced.

Was that hysterical, or what?

Huffington has already slipped in that fatal mode of being a living joke. A parody of herself.

You might be able to recover from that if you're a teenager. But not at her age. Anyone who has anything to do with her does so at their own peril.

She is not to be taken seriously.

Why in the heck would you need $5 million to start a blog? I started my own website for about $200. LOL!

Maybe it's because Arianna has no real talent and has to hire the most expensive everything to do it for her, but good grief, it shouldn't be anymore than a few thousand to do the web page, graphics, etc. This tells me a lot about what kind of a wasteful attitude she has.

What the fug was she gonna do with 5 million?

That's enough to support FR for 20 years, or, properly invested, endow it and support it forever.

Arianna has enough money that supporting something the actual size of her operation would have been chump change.

Her 'friends' definitely need to 'follow the money'

I agree, but imagine going through life as Nikki Finke.

I went to school with a girl names Kim Head. Guys were running down the hallways all day long yelling for Kimmy Head.

she's an opportunist.

she entered our lives as the wife of a conservative u.s. congressman, rich kid of texas oil, who arrived in california. he went gay and they divorced.

then she emerged as a liberal commentator.

a bit like gloria allred. both make you wanna puke.

Saudis and Bolton and Gannon! Oh my!...Saudis and Bolton and Gannon! Oh my!

This has "flop of Air America proportions" written all over it. The only people it appeals to are the DU/KOS types.

Huffington is one of the great examples of bias in the media. When her husband ran for senate Huffington was a rich, manipulating Republican who was clearly bad for the country. For the last several years she has been fawned over by the media.

I just think she is a nut.

It looks like a bunch of badly written press releases. I was particularly amused by Hilary Rosen complaining about Apple's DRM scheme (Hilary Rosen complaining about DRM is like Ted Kennedy complaining that his taxes are too high).

The thing I don't get is why do you need all this money to have a blog. I paid a little over $200 for two years to pruchase a domain name that also came with neat stat and web organizing software from a reliable company. Many say I paid too much.

She needs hundreds of thousands of dollars? You can blog for free in many places.

This attitude is erily similar to those on the left towards our public schools.
