And to think I got away with it for all these years after being enlightened by the Protocols of the Elders of Zion.

You are jumping the gun.

This is part of the media game that must be played.

What is an acceptable compromise to me?

1. Promise in writing no filibuster of SCOTUS nominees that pass the committee.

2. Any nominee that passes the committee gets an up or down vote.

3. Borking any nominee on the floor is acceptable practice. If they can build public pressure to prevent the affirmation of a nominee, more power to them.

Yes,we do.This "proposal" is the least of my concerns. The entire Senate Leadership needs to be replaced with someone who is conservative and can control the caucus.

The time for compromise is over. They show cahones ... or they are out.

Anyone who caves had better never, ever try to run as Republican president dog catcher.

Any Senator who is even considering capitulating to democrats on the fillabuster issue is digging their own political grave. These turncoats are truly out of touch if they think there will be no political ramifications in store for them.

The headline is misleading, I'm listening to Rush, the deal IS NOT A DONE DEAL, but rather a trial balloon in Roll Call.

Correct. There is no way President Bush is directing this, it is solely a Lott initiative. He's backstabbing the President over the Thurmond thing and base closures, just like Rush Limbaugh said.

Have you lost quite a number of babies when you threw out the bathwater in your life? I just heard a great clip of Allen on one of the Sunday shows, speaking the truth about the filibuster and setting the record straight.

I prefer to observe for a bit on this one rather than going off half-cocked and assuming that every story and proposal written is going to become reality.

You'd have gotten away with it, if it weren't for those meddling kids.

You know what guys if my vote for the Republican party doesn't count, if my however negligible contributions ain't worth a dime. Why even bother to stand in line at the polls Nov. 7 2006. If I don't see any vital signs coming from the late GOP I think I'm going fishing on election day.

Janice Brown is the one we want. This is so ridiculous and it proves that those idiots in congress don't care what the people say or want. Well, we want them to be out of office. I am tired of supporting their agendas. I am tired of supporting their life styles and I am tired of supporting them especially when they do nothing for me.

Get rid of these loonies. We sure don't need them sitting up there doing nothing but cheating, lying and stealing from the American people.

Do I sound mad?

the GOP does not deserve one minute of my time or one stinking dime from my checkbook.

This may be the only thing that spurs the Pubbies to do the right thing. Unfortunately, they may wait too long and find the Rats won the game by default when they (Pubbies) show up to play.
