So basically, dogs care more about human life than we do?

man is the most savage animal in God's kingdom. No other species of animal kills strictly for the joy of killing.

Bummer. Based on the title, I thought the baby killed the dog to provide nurishment until he was found.

There's a reason that "dog" spelled backwards is "god".....

Poverty and the inability to care for the child are seen as the root cause of the problem. My take - Women and the inability to keep their legs closed & Men who can't keep their pants zipped are seen as the root cause of the problem. Poverty is no excuse for women to dump their children

A stray dog in a Third World country has more compassion for innocent human life than the last six Democrat nominees for President.
Something we could have already guessed.

Nothing surprises me much anymore, especially when it comes to people and their disregard for life of any sort.

Oh, BS! Cat's have a much more primitive brain and social instinct. I would be more afraid that a cat woud try to eat the baby.

Will the child become Romulus or Remus of the new African Empire?
To: Varmint Al
Maybe I'm a cynic. I'm trying to imagine how the dog actually picked up the baby without hurting it.
