I am pessimistic enough to think part of it is schtick. But I did enjoy the commercial they did together about how dims just talk about a problem, and pubbies DO something about it.
Rush has talked about them as a couple, but not recently. He just shakes his head.

Tim Russert: In responce to his guest's information that the US military was supposed to KILL Bin Laden and his associates after the overthrow of the Taliban in Afghanistan, asks his guest incredulously and accusingly:
"Kill them?!"
Oh my, Timmy!
He then asked whether this action was against the (then) laws of the US.
Oh my!
What an *7^%ing jack#$%.

Happy Mothers Day to all moms!
Looks like ABC don't care about their losing audience to FNS. Will MSM even bother to call Dirty Harry's bluff in any of the shows today?

I doubt it he is their darling one wonders if it is because they believe every word he says or whether it is because they perceive his comments increase their viewing figures.

We are not supposed to say the left is unpatriotic, and I guess that's one way to go since they actually don't understand what the military does in the first place. People like Russert really don't get it, and their ignorance proves the point of NEVER letting Democrats return to leadership because they can't handle US security.

McCain tells Kerry to cool it on the presidential pursuit but then announces that HE wants to be president? Wait till he loses on the republican primary & keep the MSM guessing whether he will accept VP offer or Sec.Def offer from Hillary.

Good to see Senator Allen on FNS, a voice of reason over Chuckie Schumer.
Schumer's in NYC, Allen's at the FNS stage with Wallace.
Wonder if Chuckie will try the line that a vote on Sentate rules violates Senate rules?

Russert is trying to refight the WoT with Gary Schroen, former CIA agent, based on hindsight and 'whatiffery'.
What if this yada yada yada...
What if that yada yada yada...
Why didn't General Franks know where Bin Laden was?
[Apparently Mr. Schroen knew. Schroen is a quieter version of Richard Clarke. Both seemed to have all the answers; they just didn't get asked back then.]

Now he asks accusingly, paraphrasing Kerry from one of his Stump speechs criticizing Bush's strategy,
"Why we didn't have more troops surrounding Tora Bora?" Lets see here, Timmy implies 2 separate things in the last 2 minutes of questioning:
1) Bush may have deliberately violated US law in targeting Bin Laden for death.
2) Bush is an incompetent for NOT getting Bin Laden.
Hmmmmmm..........

The Dimms are threatening not to show up on Thursday to vote on Bolton???
To: Morgan in Denver
The left never do even when they purport to. In Britain at the moment we have troops on active duty in Iraq and our Secretary of Defence has announced their regiments will be amalgamated into others. Regiments that are hundreds of years old with wonderful historic backgrounds; if that is not demoralising the troops on active duty then please tell what is.
