Time was (in the 70s, in at least my little corner of S. America) that TV was only available 1) in black & white; 2) via "rabbit ear" antenna; and 3) between 4 pm - midnight.
Now we're talking Telechavez 24/7. Not exactly "progress".

It's been killing me watch the entire region sway hard left. I really had hopes for their future. Since we aren't really in a position to stop them, and the movement is continuing unabated, Latin America could be turned into a Soviet style hell hole in short order. I just can't imagine it, but seeing South America go the path of a USSR wannabe is a possiblity if this political fungus called Communism keeps going this way.
