The invasion continues against the wishes if the vast majority of Americans. Politicians wanting to hold on to their power should take note.

Yet many politicians are going against the wishes of those who voted for them and still support illegal aliens. Makes one wonder - blackmail, bribes, assurances of reelection through voter fraud, sleeper agents?

We are closer to a solution than many think.

George Bush and the GOP will pander their way up to 51% of the Hispanic vote. The next morning, the entire Democratic Party will turn nativist with a vengeance. The unions will rise up in fury, Jesse Jackson will demand the expulsion of Mexicans and a minority quota system that keeps A-A's as the dominant minority group. Deep thinkers on the communitarian left will discover the importance of cultural continuity. Bobby Byrd will break out his white sheet ....

With the 'rats providing most of the votes, we will close the borders, the GOP will sew up the Hispanic vote for the next 100 years, and the democratic coalition will be reduced to unions, blacks, abortion providers, journalists, and college professors.

Ya just gotta understand the strategery.

This is a winning issue for some aspiring Republican who desires to be the nominee in 2008.

President Bush has handed the GOP an issue that can keep them in the White House.

Now, who will have the courage to step up and take the lead?

This has been going on for more than 20 years, and we may have already passed critical mass. I wish we could accommodate all those miserable, desperate people, but we should look out for our own first.

We have a huge underclass of young, middle-aged and elderly American citizens whose ancestors have been here for more than 100 years.

Just about everybody sees which way the wind is blowing but the politicians. I live in a part of the country that is affected, but not as much so as the southwest and the pocket areas we read about.

I am ambivalent about this whole subject, but something has to give or we are going to end up with no middle class and a wealthy oligarchy of either party living it up and running the show.

"When asked whether the government was doing enough to control the border and screen those allowed into the country, 76 percent said the government was not doing enough."

Well now. Only households earning 75,000 or more are sappy about illegal immgration. Hm....
