You call the kid a smart mouth because he was defiant, acted disorderly and cursed at the idiots who wanted to take his phone away while he was having a once a month conversation with his Mom?

Just how worried and scared would you be if your Mom was serving over in Iraq? I suppose you'd have meekly ended your once a month conversation all in the name of obeying some idiot in a faux position of authority. I hate to be the one to break it to you but where I come from, Mom's have a heck of a lot more authority than some idiot teacher who's abusing his/her authority.

What don't you get? Iraq = war zone, once a month = a thank God I can talk to her. I don't give a flying flip if he was disorderly, defiant, cursing and was out of control. I'd have done the same thing if some idiot teacher on a power control had tried to take my phone away while I was trying to talk to my Mom. Do you even have a clue how long a month can be to a teenager who's worried about his Mom while she's serving in a war zone? Haven't you read there are no front lines in Iraq because of the terrorists war on coalition members.

Oh all mighty seeing one, tell me when he became disorderly? Tell me when he dared to use profanity, tell me when he became defiant, tell me when he got out of control. Do you think it might just have been when he was forced to not have his once a month, one hour phone call with his Mom?

I happen to think this kid has his head on straight and his priorities in the right place. And if I told you what I really think about your statement, JR would ban me.

Go suck an egg for you lack of compassion and understanding about how important that phone call was to that child.

I'd have been cursing, hitting out at anyone who was interrupting my call from my mom. It's not like she can call just any old time she wants to. It's not like he can call her back. He takes the phone call outside where he can hear the Mom he loves, misses and worries about. And you have the audacity to call for his suspension because he became defiant about ending the one call a month he gets from his Mom?

What if that once a month phone call never comes because she dies while in service to out country? What if that's the last time he ever hears her voice because she dies? Out of control; I'd have been out of control if someone/anyone had tried to take my phone away while I was talking to my Mom who's half a world away. I'd have been making the biggest scene that school had ever seen.

Wonder where the Dad is. After all, if there's no Dad around then the kid deserves to not talk to his Mom once a month. How dare he not live in a proper two parent family. Damn him to hell because he doesn't live in a "proper" family. He deserves everything he got, doesn't he?
