This may have something to do with that FBI guy (represented by Lanny Davis) who resigned from the UN investigation and turned over his papers to the Congressional oversight committee yesterday.

Let me get this straight, Paul Volker is having a news conference? Or its a news conference about Paul Volker.

I was surprised to learn that Jimmy Carter appointed Volcker as Fed Chairman to replace somebody he had to get rid of or who had resigned.
I didn't remember that at all.

I do not quite understand Volker in this deal; I am just guessing but I think he may not be on the UN side as much as it appears, he may just be playing this close to the vest as appearances can be deceiving, until his final report is done and then he may spring the trap. Just speculation but Volkers actions are curiouser and curiouser

Volcker's news conferece will consist of him having a hissy fit over Parton turning the investigation materials over to congress. Nothing more.
The leftist/globalist/socialist juggarnaut is going to be dealt a jarring blow, so get ready for the screaming, whining, and gnashing of teeth to begin.

There was an editorial in the WSJ this morning about this issue. The man who resigned from the Volker commission, is being represented by Lanny Davis. If that doesn't send up a red flag for you nothing will. The only ones who benefit from demeaning the Volker report are those who are the target of the investigation. The report is due to be completed in August and secrecy is of the utmost importance to ensure that witnesses continue to feel free to talk. Be very careful what you demand in this investigation because the accusations could be a big red herring, thrown out to distract from the ultimate goal.

Christopher Shays was pretty adamant about going forward with the investigation when interviewed on F&F this a.m. I was impressed.
This whole old boys network at the u.n. makes me sick.

It's time to pin Volcker's name on his lapel, and steer him onto the bus for the dog-track.

Foxnews has obtained video tapes of Kofi Annan and Paul Volcker.Remember that when Kofi chose Volker to head the "independent" investigation how the MSM kept repeating what a paragon of ethical purity Volker supposedly is. Hah!

Remember, Kofi Anan was completely vindicated by Volcker's interim report two weeks ago (sarcasm alert).
