Per Foxnews Alert!
Looks like Kofi Annan may be going down. Foxnews has obtained video tapes of Kofi Annan and Paul Volcker.
There are inconsistencies in Kofi Annan's statements. In other words...he's been caught red handed!
No, this was a group effort, they discussed the whole thing before the report was issued. What I want to know now is whether Parton approached Lanny Davis or if Pakistani Lanni approached Parton and offered his services.
That Lanny is his attorney is suspicious. Might be that Clinton wants Kofi gone so he can become the UN general secretary. This is made even more interesting given this guy is an ex FBI agent. Surely he must know that one's attorney does not always promote his client's interests. If I was in this guy's position, I would not have Lanny representing me.
My guess, and it's only a guess, is that Clinton wants to protect his friends on the Security council in order to secure their support. In addition Clinton had to know what was going on with the oil for food program and that can not be allowed to come out for the sake of Hillary's campaign.
What was Clinton doing, bombing Iraq and asking for approval of an invasion and then turning his head to the scam? Did he have his hand out to? Did some of that oil for food money make it's way into the Clinton library via Denise Rich? Maybe.
Horse manure. The "bona fides of the Volcker probe" are everything.
"Put simply, the Volcker Committee will be crippled if it cannot guarantee its witnesses--many of them not beyond reproach--that their confidential testimony won't end up being aired on C-SPAN as part of a Congressional hearing."
Why does this sound like a mob investigation where all the witnesses are Mafia lieutenants?
Oh yeah - - it's the UN.
Clinton is certainly no stranger to rich billionaires (or would-be billionaires). Marc Rich, George Soros, and the Riadi family of Indonesia come to mind. Follow the money. With the Clintons, it's always about the money.
And Henry Hyde has the documents.
good pt
But while we destroy the credibility of the Volcker investigation, we will still not get Koffi Annan. Volcker explained that when they asked witnesses if Kofi knew, they all said yes, but then when they asked if they had any proof, like an email or something, they all said no. So it all came down to hearsay evidence. Since these witnesses are somewhat compromised themselves, hearsay evidence is just not good enough to be a smoking gun. This is going to end up looking like the Republicans are having a little temper tantrum with the UN because they didn't support us in Iraq.
If I had to guess, it would be that everybody involved in this whitewash, er I mean investigation, at the UN is covering up for two American presidents who lined their pockets or the halls of their "LIEbarys," in addition to various and assorted other world scum. I think Volker has the job because he owes one of those presidents. I have become convinced that there is not one honest person in this country holding office above dog catcher if he has a "D" behind his name. I think the Democrat "mafia" kept it well hidden until the Clintons blew the lid off. I'm not certain how many with an "R" behind their name are not in the same boat and I would not have said that before the Clintons failed to keep the lid on the sewage and rot that has permeated our system. Some countries are known to operate on the "dishonor" system; we try to keep ours hidden.
Remember, Kofi Anan was completely vindicated by Volcker's interim report two weeks ago (sarcasm alert).
Your #316 is right on the money.
LOL!
I will be very interested to hear from Norm Coleman.
Has he weighed in on these latest developments yet?

STATEMENT BY SENATOR NORM COLEMAN REGARDING REMARKS TODAY BY MR. PAUL VOLCKER
May 6th, 2005 - I appreciate Mr. Volckers efforts to clear the air regarding the recent resignation of Robert Parton from the Independent Inquiry Commission (IIC). I have spoken with Mr. Volcker, and he put forward a very constructive way for Mr. Parton to cooperate with the Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigation's inquiry while still addressing relevant confidentiality concerns. This is the kind of transparency that I and other Congressional investigators feel is vital to preserving the integrity of the IIC's important investigation. I believe today's positive development allows the IIC to move forward knowing it has the confidence of Congressional investigators and the American people.
Thank you.
What happened to the female Rockefellar relation that resigned along with Parton?
I guess she didn't want anything to do with Lanny Davis. Who knows? My guess is that she didn't like the political games that were being played.
Shays is the third Senator, not the second. So what committee does he head. These guys are trying to get in on the action to make a name for themselves. None of them see the whole picture.
I sure hope you're right about Henry......I'm skeptical of ALL politicians, and would bet than even Hyde has a few markers out there that can be called....OTOH, he has announced his retirement, so he might pull out all stops. He's a decent guy IMO too.
I feel that the impetus to cover this up is not a partisan issue, as the whole truth of it spans the universe of human opportunism, greed, etc......additionally, since the UN itself might fall because of this, all globalists will want to look away or actively work to supress the whole story. Hydes fortitude and leadership is the best chance there is in this matter.....I pray to God that Parton is really a whistleblower, rather than a player on Volckers team.
