Looks like Kofi Annan may be going down. Foxnews has obtained video tapes of Kofi Annan and Paul Volcker.
There are inconsistencies in Kofi Annan's statements. In other words...he's been caught red handed!

I read the WSJ piece earlier today. Unfortunately, I don't think the toothpaste is going to go back into the tube.
Such agreements are void if they involve criminal conduct like concealing or abetting a crime.

Johnathan Hunt of Fox is kicking Volkers ass and Volker does not like it. This is as desperate as Clinton looked when he wagged his finger in our face and said "I did not have........". Volker is in damage control mode and I think it is because his own ass is in a sling. At this time Volker is headed for the tall weeds, like the pigmey he is. It is every man for himself now. Kofi is now a liability to Volker. Volker said lives are now at risk, not the least apparent is Kofi. Volker had two honest people on his investigative team, and now his ass is in deep dodo.
I have an afterthought question: why does this guy need "immunity" from Volcker?
I agree, but I think that we have shot ourselves in the foot. We all knew that Kofi Annan was/is guilty, but still can't prove it and the investigation is now worthless, so nothing will be accomplished as far as the Security Council is concerned. Great.

Volker has not had this much "tone" in his anal sphincter in years.
Volcker is trying to assert powers that he does not have, and was not granted during the investigation. What we saw today, was a scared old man, doing his best to sway public opinion. The shot at Fox was a dead-giveaway. He is scared.

I have 2 thoughts. Why would Volker allow desperation to be broadcast over the airways and define his position? What is that important to a Democrat that he would do it?Now I speculate.....some of the money went to try to get Gore or Kerry elected? Some of the money went directly to Chelsey's numbered Swiss Bank account.....Bill is directly related to some of these dealings (remember Marc Rich)... I do not know....but something or someone put Volker up for this discomfort and he obliged....WHY? It has to attach to the democrats at some level.

Kofi is being sacrificed.....he doesn't care, he's rich now and has diplomatic immunity.......but what is happening just now is just a feint....to cover the bloody hands of the BIG time profiteers og the OFF program. Todays news conference was bluster unless Congress is so dirty that they will have to genuflect to protect their own who are involved or whose cronies are involved.....I would guess that since the credibility of the globalist UN is at stake here, that we can count on every pro globalist/UN member of congress will wimp out and appear to be satisfied with "getting" Kofi alone. Volcker is total amd comitted globalist, so he will do anything he can to minimize damage to the UN..... but it looks like he is now about to be outed as dirty in the OFF matter

I am very curious to know just how much OFF oil was run through "Mahonia", a JP Morgan front company......and also how much from Mahonia was traded by Enron.....Enron went exponential at about the time OFF went into operation.....UBS would up with the Enron trading operation FOR NOTHING, and Enron unwound their trading books while the BK progressed.
