Not a surprise. Catholic universities and Catholic hospitals long ago stopped being Catholic, in any real sense of the term. Like the colleges, the hospitals traded off their Catholicism for federal money.

Catholic medical ethics is clear that abortion is, in all cases, and at all stages of development, the moral equivalent to murder and can never be condoned. The problem is that many (more likely most) Catholics in America have adopted the mindset that anything and everything is relative and flexible. Many are unwilling or unable to grasp the simple fact that God's laws are perpetual and cannot be changed simply because people no longer agree with them or find them convenient.
The truth is the truth even if nobody believes it, and a lie is a lie even if everybody believes it.

Many religious hospitals affiliated with the Church are CINO. Their adherence to Catholic moral teachings may be purely coincidental.
