I'm not normally a person who expresses much emotion in public (apart from disdain for the Left) - but I have to thank everyone deeply and sincerely from the bottom of my heart for all the very kind things that have been said. I had no idea that the things I had said had reached so far and wide...and I'm very touched.
I have to say that the Mods have asked me to reconsider, and I've agreed to think about it - to their credit, they've reassured me that they are concerned about the same things I'm concerned about.
I'm not sure what else to say except again...thank you everyone...for your kindness and friendship, which is a large part of why I've been here as long as I have been.

What is there to reconsider? Where else on the Internet do you have this many friends and admirers? Your allies are in the vast majority, and you might ping some of us if any thread looks like it's going anti-British. Remember, you are NOT a cheese-eating surrender monkey....
Ivan, I sometimes get the same feeling you have. There are quite a few people who just don't have the international insight some of us (especially you) have.
I always look for your comments and appreciate them, whether I agree with you on a particular subject or not. ( Not too many though)

Let me just join in and say that you were one of the first posters I noticed after joining, and have always loved reading your posts. You were missed a lot when you where gone for a while, and I was greatly joyed when you returned for Reagens's funeral.
This place would truly be a poorer place without you.
Heck, Norway and Scandinavia has been bashed a lot (often deservingly though :-) ) and I know it gets annoying. I generally just ignore the more riddicolous posts and smile for myself at such posters.
Heck, I have already promised I will have a gin & tonic tonight in honour of her birthday.. I'll have to add a bottle of Newcastle Brown Ale for Britain tonight as well. :-)

Ivan I'm glad to read you are reconsidering. I for one intend to be part of the answer and effort to take this forum back from the varmints and pukes who've infiltrated it.
Y'all who fit this description and are lurking and reading out there can consider it a heads up. Diminish this site, drag it down, post outside the rules of the forum and outside of common decency and courtesy and you WILL be reported. You WILL be turned in and your screen name WILL be listed.

I've seen the bitterness of some FR ex-pats up close, and it's not pretty. Most of them in fact turn out to not be Conservative at all, that's their dirty little secret. You are of course true to the cause, and so I do hope you reconsider. :)
