Mexican flags are flying all over the Bay Area these days, not just on 5-May. It's nothing short of an invasion. Gangs sort of parade with them in San Jose.

And Oakland. Another place I could do without visiting. I do have to go to Oakland occasionally. My HMO has facilities there, so when I have to have scans or some such thing, I am forced to drive to Oakland.

Children and teenagers should remain at home and drivers should expect delays on most roads leading to Sebastopol Road, the Sonoma County Sheriff's Department reported Wednesday. Deputies also are urging residents to not attend impromptu street Cinco de Mayo celebrations, recommending that residents celebrate at organized events. --

For those of you who may be fuzzy on Mexican history:
Cinqo de Mayo is not Mexican Independence Day. It celebrates a time 140 years ago when when Mexico was invaded by a foreign army twice the size of Mexico's and far better armed. Yet the Mexicans defeated the invaders and sent them packing. Who were the invaders?
The French!! Maximillian and Napoleon III were given the heave-ho back in the 1860's.

That warning is crazy man. Please, let's replace American culture with Mexican as quick as possible.
