MS-13, which has a significant presence in the Washington area, and other gangs are spreading into small towns and suburbs by following illegal aliens seeking work in places such as Providence, R.I., and the Carolinas, FBI task force director Robert Clifford said. "The migrant moves and the gang follows," said Mr. Clifford, director of the agency's MS-13 National Gang Task Force. "If you follow the construction trade, this is where a lot of these immigrants go."

yes, and the government will try their best to hide the stats on crime by illegals. O'Reilly (whom I don't usually care for that much) has been good on immigration. Last night he had someone who worked with Aschroft ?sp? The guy stated that 1 in 5 people in Federal prison is an illegal. What I found astounding, was that he stated that nationwide 1/3 of all incarcerated people are illegals. If that is true, then the immigration problem is much worse than stated.
good, maybe the ruling class will finally take action (dreaming, I know). I don't know if this is correct, but I thought I remember some report on TV stating that there are over 50,000 MS-13 gang members nationwide.

I heard that too. Protection from crime is one of the few legitimate functions of government -- and it does that task quite poorly. I fear the coming years will be quite tumultuous in this land. The immigration problem will accelerate to a crisis that will rip at the core of this Republic. I pray we have the fortitude to do the right thing and seal out borders and expel all illegals. Our culture, our values, our very existence will be at risk because our so called leaders cannot face reality and do the right damn thing.
That would be true justice, but the evil ACLU would get their panties in a wad. I can imagine that in the offices of the ACLU there are smiles at the violence of the gangs, cheers at the increasing flood of immigrants and shouts of joy every time an brave American soldier is killed fighting terrorism. The enemies within our land pose a much greater threat to the survival of this Republic than any enemy outside our borders.

Do you remember the story as of last year where in Nicaragua a prison was set on fire and many prisoners were BarBQ. I believe 150 prisoners died.
I think those prisoners were MS-13 Members.
That happens in other Countries, I can't ever see it happening in the States. Here in the states we love freedom and in turn innocent law abiding citizens get victimized and in some case victimized twice.
What I can't resolve for myself is, how can we sit here and make victims out to be victimized twice. Once by the criminal and the second time by the Justice system that can bePro Criminal. It's a tough situation but I'd love to hear your thought.
The difficulty is in Subjective calls by Judges on technicalities, corrupt Policing and even dealing with the Pro Criminal Lobby - The Mumia Lobby.

If anyone is counting on government to protect them,from criminality, they are barking up a strange tree. EVERY oath taken by government officials has a paraphrase of "support/protect and defend the constitution" in it. If one is relying on police to defend one, better check out "DIAL 911 and DIE." It shows that LE is not LIABLE and has no duty to protect individuals. Two states only have situations where LE "malpractice" is litigatable in court.
Best bet is to acquier the means/tools of self-defense, train like a pro, and always have at least the outline of a plan.
Bleek, pessimistic outlook? Maybe, but more in line with ground truth than relying on government.
