Smoking Gun.com - Man at Coulter Event Arrested for Disorderly Conduct
The Smoking Gun ^ | 5/4/2005 | n/a

MAY 5--Months after members of "Al Pieda" marred a campus speech by Ann Coulter, another appearance by the controversial conservative commentator has been disrupted by a protester. During a speech last night at the University of Texas in Austin, a 19-year-old UT student was busted after asking Coulter a lewd question, which he followed up with equally inappropriate hand gestures, according to the below police affidavit. The student, Ajai Raj, was arrested by campus police and hit with a misdemeanor disorderly conduct charge. The police affidavit notes that Coulter's lecture was attended by "several children under the age of ten," which probably made them particularly sensitive when Raj queried Coulter about the sexual proclivities of certain right-leaning men. Raj is pictured at right in an Austin Police Department booking photo. (1 page)

It also is flat as all get out.

Tech is one of those places that has to have an appeal to the student for the student to go there.

There fans, as a result, are really loyal.

SMU....after seeing the girls that went to school there......wow.

What a delightful young man. I am especially fond of the way he refers to women in words I can't bring myself to repeat. /sarcasm

What a self-important, pompous, arrogant ba$tard. I hope he never attains any position of power. But then again, considering his comments, not likely.

He is no Hindu. He is what we call a pseudo-secularist, i.e., a Communist or a Nehruvian-Stalinist who is a Hindu-hater and forgets about secularism when it comes to loving the Islamofascists. Americans make the mistake of calling the classical-liberals in India as "Hindu fundamentalists" and end up supporting the wrong guys (like this obnoxious guy).

Good point you make.. worth pinging to more ppl in this group.. This guy or his parents are obviously from India, as hez got a Hindu name. But he is a commie first, an Indian looking guy next.

He could never be a muslim, as even the most liberal of their ilk wouldnt support homosexuality so openly.

Obviously a "left wing Liberal", who unfortunately happens to be Indian...

His lewd behavior is understandable... afterall, his communist, leftie friends once supported painting all Hindu Goddesses NAKED, as a matter of "artistic expression" and openly rub their shoulders with many Islamic Terrorist groups, in the guise of "peace talks".

My sentiments exactly, and this from a UT Alum (Class of '92). I was in Austin last fall after a 7 year absence (live in the Windy City now) to visit my nephew who had just started at UT (4th generation) and geez how things have changed. Fortunately, he is a straight-A, politically conservative, engineering major (no mamby pamby degrees in our family), with a good head on his shoulders.

It seems that the fringe crowd is now the norm on campus, or at least they seem more visible then when I attended UT. Like most college campuses, UT seems to be becoming a holding pen for slackers on their parent's dime.

However, Austin (and surrounding hill country)is still just as cool as ever. While there the we hit 6th street, the Oasis, and the little barbecue joint (forget the name)just north of campus on Guadalupe, and reactivated my taste for Silver Bullets and Tequila shots, and re-stocked on my UT paraphernalia (still a proud alum). It was fun turning back the clock for few days. Cheers Another Army Brat

I was on campus there once...years ago.....after visting Concordia.
A friend of mine who was also interested in Concordia was with me.

We were near that little public sentitment area they have...with that little structure that people put their little protest and party announcements on.

I was talking to a girl I know, trying to get her number....and all of the sudden...

"What the h-ll, what kind of commies were allowed to put this up"

It was yelled out by my friend. I turned around....and he was ripping papers off of the structure!!!!!

On the way home he said...."Dude, it had to be done"

There were some frat guys near by......basically cheering.

Indians, like Jews, are spread all over the political spectrum.

Of course, if a foreigner had just moved to America and spent a day lurking at both DU and FR, he'd be writing back home saying, "Boy, these Whites are sure spread all over the politcal spectrum!"
