I just got a Census update in the mail from our local Gov't. They noted I was 'randomly selected' and was very important that I respond to their request. And if I didn't respond, they would do a follow-up.
Bring it on ...
I put in a note saying I WILL NOT provide any information about myself or family until the Gov't (local and national) takes substantive steps to curb illegal immigration.
I've had it folks. If I get anymore RNC fundraising letters I'm going to do the same.

Good for you. I sent back three fundraising pleas, with specific instructions to start governing like conservatives, or else they get no more money from me.

will they get the message? If they do will they act on it?
There are too many agendas.

If you live in a state with a lot of illegal immigrants, excluding yourself from the census could be a heroic act for the nation as a whole. Illegal immigrants prop up your state's population, trading-off with federal funding for other states that have a lower proportion of illegals.

I started doing the same thing last year. No more money from us.. they can get it from their *foreign* friends. If the Dems win in '06.. oh well. If there is no political price to pay for doing what they were elected to do, then we lose either way. No, I don't want Hillary, but if the GOP can't govern like a majority, then I don't want them on the payroll anyway.. They must pay a political price! SS isn't going to be there for me anyway, so why save it for illegals. I dont give a crap. Illegals are costing ME now. You too. So.. save your money, you'll need it later.

whoa there, the pubbies are in charge of the executive and both houses of congress, if the boarder leaks like a sieve its the pubbies fault. You think we should subsidize this political parties dereliction of duty? And hillary would do what?(other than the pandering to you guys on FR, WND, and Newsmax, and lick up like sour milk).
I really get tired of the fringe right acting like the mainstream left on FR.

I probably got much the same (also in Virginia). They did send a follow-up. I went to the Enlish-Spanish translator web site and replied in Spanish. Nothing since.

I have never responded to a census and WILL never respond to a Census.
It's none of their damned business who or what lives in my house.

To date I have sent back almost 30 post-paid RNC & NRCC
envelopes with the word JUDGES scrawled across the
payment slip in red magic-marker.
Three more went this week.
Not one more dime!

Be ready to get out your checkbook to pay the fine the government will levy on you, or to pay your lawyer to fight the fine that you'll end up paying anyway.

Has to be the case, otherwise I can't see even speaking the woman's name.
