Did Hillary Clinton win her Senate seat through fraud?

David Rosen, former National Finance Director of Hillary Clinton's 2000 Senate campaign, is under a four-count federal indictment charging that he "knowingly and willfully caused to be made materially false, fictitious, and fraudulent statements" to the Federal Election Commission regarding more than $1 million in campaign contributions. Each of the four felony counts carries a possible penalty of five years in prison and $250,000 in fines.

This is the most massive fraud ever charged against a political campaign by the U.S. Government.

The criminal charges against Rosen stem from the largest fundraiser on behalf of Hillary Clinton's Senate campaign. The August 12, 2000 Hollywood Gala Salute to President Clinton featured performances by Cher, Diana Ross, Toni Braxton, Patti LaBelle, Melissa Etheridge, Sugar Ray and Michael Bolton. The event cost organizer Peter Paul more than $1.2 million to host, and raised $1 million in "hard money" contributions. By falsely reporting those costs as $401,419, the Clinton campaign avoided paying at least $800,000 in hard money -- not including the fair market value of the performances -- during the crucial final weeks before the election. If Paul's contribution had been reported fully as required by law, it could have bankrupted the campaign.

Peter Paul's extensive evidence, which we will organize and present on this site, shows clearly that Hillary Clinton knew of the actions taken by her finance director, and that she orchestrated those actions and others in violation of federal campaign statutes and regulations.

Mr. Paul is being represented in his ongoing civil suit against the Clintons by the U.S. Justice Foundation, which has formed the Hillary Clinton Accountability Project to put the facts of the most massive and least reported campaign finance scandal in history before the American people.

"Not true. She beat Lazio by 10-11 points. She had 55% of the vote"

I will check the numbers again. Perhaps that 51.3% I read was on the Demo line only. I assume she was also endorsed by the Liberal party so maybe she picked up a few percentage points there too.

It was Lazio's fault that she cheated, and he should step up and take responsibility.

You are a riot!

Fraud is in every liberals playbook...just look at the lying Kerry did about his war record...look at the voter fraud in Washington State to get Christine Gregoire elected after the third recount...fraud is simply a means to an end for them..Hillary is no exception to the rule. Oh yes! and Dan Rather said it himself....It's not important that it did'nt actually happen...it's the thought that counts.

My favorite Ratherism is when he told O'Reilly that Clinton most definitely lied, but considered him an honest man.

Stan Lee was the nephew (by marriage) of the publisher of Marvel comics. He always takes credit for creating the Marvel comic book characters, Spider-man etc. This is a Lie. Those characters were created by Jack Kirby, the artist who drew them. Later Lee started a comic book on line company , he was suppose come up with new heroes. It bombed.
Peter Paul was one of the backers of this company and there was some shady stuff going on there. I believe there were some articles posted about this here on freerepublic.

This is the most massive fraud ever charged against a political campaign by the U.S. Government. And yet we could hear a pin drop with the coverage the MSM is giving it.

Absolute complete democrat party-controlled media cover-up. I can think of no greater proof of the truthfulness of everything the Republicans complain about the media.

I dont know what the percentage was, but algore did not get 53%.

This is New York we're talking about. The only states more degenerate are Rhode Island and Taxachussetts. Algore took it 60-35.

I found a station that will stream a replay of Peter's appearance on Tony Show this morning. It was a great interview.

Can't wait untilindictments and trials are crammed down their biased throats. They'll be forced to cover it then and I'll enjoy their misery to the fullest.

Maw Clinton rides her broom of scandal into a plush seat in the US Senate fueled of course by phony campaign cash and other such untidy messy deeds.

I've got a few questions -

Is there a schedule for the David Rosen trial? Could it actually happen without Big Media reporting it?

Would it be wise to assign an enterprising FReeper to the trial in order to provide daily notes? If Big Media doesn't show up, court transcripts will be the only way to find out what happened. Scoops galore - eh?

Where is this trial - and does the courthouse have a docket published on the internet?

Just wondering...

Rosen's trial was delayed from its May 3 scheduled beginning in Los Angeles. I will try to be there at least once, but someone in L.A. who could take notes would be very helpful. Also, some film as they all walk out of the courtroom might be nice.

They will come kicking and screaming but will have no choice but to cover it.

I just spoke with someone in L.A. FOX News will be there. The mainstream will not be able to ignore the biggest campaign fraud in history.
