Million Man Bigots - (infuriating and inexcusable! fomenting violence! This is America!!)

My oh my, time certainly does fly by. It seems like just yesterday that the Million Man March was held on the Mall in Washington, D.C. In fact it's been nearly ten years since, according to most estimates, considerably less than the hoped-for number converged on the nation's capital at the behest of Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan. Come October, he'll be looking to do it all again. It was billed as "a day of atonement and reconciliation." An October day for black men to take responsibility for themselves and for their families. A day for black men to pledge that they would fight violence and drugs in the black community. USA Today reported at the time that those who couldn't make it to the rally were being asked to stay home from school and work and celebrate a "holy day."

On the eve of the march, President Bill Clinton was said to be in favor of the march's goals, but opposed to the "bigoted, hateful, anti-Semitic, sexist comments of Louis Farrakhan." That according to Deputy White House chief of staff Harold Ickes, appearing on CBS's "Face the Nation."

I have a message of my own for those, like Clinton, who are apparently able to separate the message from the messenger: You can't separate the message from the messenger.

Farrakhan has reportedly called Judaism a "gutter religion." He reportedly has defended his use of the term "bloodsuckers" to describe Jews who run businesses in minority areas and then take their profits elsewhere.

According to the New York Sun, back in 1995 Farrakhan said he considered many Jewish landlords to be "bloodsuckers." So maybe he's mellowed since then. Maybe getting hit with prostate cancer has made the Minister more "Minister-like." Wrong!

The Web site of the Anti-Defamation League quotes the good Minister from February as saying: "Listen, Jewish people don't have no hands that are free of the blood of us. They owned slave ships. They bought and sold us. They raped and robbed us."

But at today's press conference announcing what they are calling the Millions More Movement, to be held October 14-16, the rhetoric was over the top even by the Minister's standards. He told the audience gathered at the National Press Club in Washington, including Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson, "If anybody deserves to strap a bomb on themselves and give pain for the pain that we have suffered, it is we." He then went on to say it won't happen, but that hardly diminishes the message from this hate-filled messenger

Another organizer of the upcoming event is the head of the National Black Panther Party, Malik Zulu Shabazz. Undoubtedly motivated to his virulent anti-Semitism by the good Minister, Shabazz surely makes his mentor proud. The ADL quotes him as saying: "Kill every g-d--- Zionist in Israel! G-d--- little babies, g-d--- old ladies! Blow up Zionist supermarkets!" The Panther made those remarks while protesting in front of the B'nai B'rith building in D.C. in 2002.

In the three years since calling for Jewish babies and women to be blown up, Shabazz hasn't let up. The New York Sun reports that during a speech at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Shabazz claimed that Zionism is "racism." Maybe he thought he was addressing the good folk at the United Nations.

He also called on the Jews in the audience to identify themselves. I hear that he had a star to pin on the chest of each Jew in attendance. How nice. He then went on to endorse anti-Semitic books, including one that says the Jews were disproportionately involved in the African slave trade.

How on earth do decent black people associate themselves with two blatant bigots? How do two blatant bigots get to organize and lead a march for the black community? The fact that Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton condone the bigotry by virtue of their silence on the issue and their participation in the event doesn't surprise me. But what about black elected officials? In 1995, many shared the stage with Farrakhan. What about this time around?

On my radio show this morning on WWRL Radio in New York City (6-10 a.m. Monday-Friday at www.wwrl1600.com) I spoke with New York Congressman Charlie Rangel. I read him the quotes from Shabazz and Farrakhan about Jews. I asked him if he'd be willing to stand side by side with the dynamic duo of hate come October.

"I don't know whether or not all of these inflammatory statements that you attribute to people are true or not. I certainly would advocate their freedom of expression no matter who says what. But if they're insulting to any group of people, I certainly personally and politically would not want to be associated with it."

Let's hope that Rangel starts a trend in the black community. At today's press conference Farrakhan must have seen people like me coming. He had this warning for the faithful: "They will come to pick us off one by one. [I assume he meant it figuratively.] How could you be in a room with bigots?" he asked, predicting what decent people would ask of his followers. "We live with you," he answered. He then followed with "How could you be in a room with racists? We've been in a room with you for 400 years."

That's affirmative action math, you wouldn't understand. It's adjusted for "social factors" and scores are suitably raised.

Did anybody notice last time, nation wide, it did not even make a ripple in the economy? All these people were not at their jobs if they had one, and it made no difference.

Replace Zionist with African and I wonder whether the traitor Rangle would refer to those words as "insulting a group of people" or if he would question if they were true or not, I wonder if he would advocate their freedom of expresion.

The truth is, Rangle is someone's Representative in Washington and he represents their feelings.

Rangel is a lying snake. He knows perfectly well what Calypso Louie Farrakhan says exactly.

Farrakhan is a raving paranoid schizophrenic. He makes absolutely no sense, is utterly bizarre, and is a hateful anti-white, anti-asian, anti-semitic monster.

LOL. I forgot about the Million Man March and how utterly stupid and ridiculous it was. Of course, it was outdone by the Million Pound March (aka Million Mom march) led by everyone's favorite American, Rosie O'Donnell.

Ditto for Malik Shabazz. Loaded with pure hate; struts around like King of the Hill (although exactly what "hill" he thinks he's king of, I've never been sure). But his rhetoric is every bit as vile as Farrakhan's.

The wonderful mayor of Memphis, Tenn. gave the key to the city to Farrakhan.

I take exception with your comparison of Calypso Louie (his actual stage name) with fine American buttocks, which serve useful a number of purposes.

For sure. . .but perhaps worse, is that this man, is such a smooth-talking purveyor of hate; as are his followers who fashion themselves in his image.

He is evil. . .that dresses itself in the cloak of religious parlance.

Farrakhan is as disgusting as he is dangerous.

It is sickening that even among the 'self-annointed' of the Black community; there is no voice to counter or silence the hate of Farrakhan.

I am guessing that the price is right for those who are in the business of 'trading their soul' to the highest bidder.

And if Farrakan 'calls' and only a few choose to respond to his voice; it is too many.

The fact that so many Jews helped further the Civil Rights movement makes this all the more sickening.

I used the support the early leaders like Martin Luther King, Jr. The ones now aren't even rational.

God will destroy America by the hands of the Muslims....God will not give Japan or Europe the honor of bringing down the United States; this is an honor God will bestow upon Muslims." – Nation of Islam Leader Louis Farrakhan

================================================

SPEWING HATE IN SAVIOUR'S DAY SPEECH FOLLOWING WORLD TOUR, LOUIS FARRAKHAN CONDEMNS AMERICA AND THE JEWS

New York, NY, March 5, 1996...Calling Jews "wicked deceivers of the American people" and the American Government "rotten to the core," Minister Louis Farrakhan spewed hatred in a speech before thousands of supporters following his recent trip to some of the world's bloodiest, most anti-democratic nations. Speaking at the Nation of Islam's (NOI) Saviour's Day gathering in Chicago on February 25th, he praised Muammar Qaddafi as his "friend" and "brother," and described how Iraqis "love their man," Saddam Hussein. The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) said the recent extremist rhetoric is consistent with the racial and religious animus that characterized Minister Farrakhan and his Nation of Islam before the more moderate appeal of his Million Man March. The League released excerpts from the speech, together with Travels With Tyrants: Minister Louis Farrakhan's Anti-American World Tour, a report detailing the 27-day trip, where he visited Libya, Iraq and Iran, among other countries.

"On his trip, Louis Farrakhan -- who was recently saluted by eminent civil rights and political figures at the March in our nation's capital -- publicly embraced foreign countries the United States considers sponsors of terrorism," said Abraham H. Foxman, ADL National Director. "Both his Saviour's Day speech and our report reconfirm that the Nation of Islam is an extremist organization with a racist ideology and an apocalyptic vision of America's future, and that Mr. Farrakhan is an unrepentant bigot."

On Tour, ADL Reports an 'Itinerary of Hate' Minister Farrakhan announced in January 1996 he was taking the message of the Million Man March to African and Middle Eastern nations. Travels With Tyrants, prepared by the agency's Civil Rights Division, documents an itinerary of hate, including the following:

* Nigeria -- By reportedly expressing support for the military ruler, Sani Abacha, Minister Farrakhan undermined the efforts of many Black community leaders who have harshly criticized the military junta. He also rebuked criticism of Mr. Abacha's execution of Nigerian writer and activist Ken Saro-Wiwa.

* Libya -- According to reports from Libya's news agency, JANA, Mr. Farrakhan and Mr. Qaddafi agreed to work together to mobilize "oppressed Blacks, Arabs, Muslims and Red Indians" in the United States to influence the outcome of the 1996 elections and the shaping of U.S. foreign policy. Mr. Qaddafi reportedly agreed to bankroll a $1 billion Muslim lobby in America to help bring these plans to fruition. "And I'm gonna accept it," Mr. Farrakhan said.

* Sudan -- The NOI leader met with Sudanese President Omar Hassan al-Bashir and Hassan al-Turabi, the leader of Sudan's ruling party. Under Mr. Turabi's influence, the Sudan has become a launching pad for Islamic extremist terrorism.

* Iran --An Iranian newspaper quoted Minister Farrakhan as saying, "God will destroy America by the hands of the Muslims....God will not give Japan or Europe the honor of bringing down the United States; this is an honor God will bestow upon Muslims." The United States State Department described Mr. Farrakhan's trip to Iran, and his earlier trip to Libya, as "shameful" and "cavorting with dictators."

* Iraq -- Mr. Farrakhan met with Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein and, referring to the U.N. sanctions imposed following the 1991 Gulf War, said at a news conference, "We visited the children's hospital...and I must say if I were made of stone, seeing what I saw today would bring tears from my eyes. Sanctions is a crime against humanity." He added, "Visiting the hospital that we visited today would be, or could be, compared to visiting one of the [Nazi] death camps."

At Home, A Defiant Speech

The following quotations are excerpted from Louis Farrakhan's Saviour's Day speech:

On America

America is a modern Rome. America is a modern Egypt. America is a modern Babylon. America is a modern Sodom and Gomorrah. There is no wicked nation in the past that approaches the evil that is practiced in America on a daily basis. I am not saying that there are not good Americans, white and brown and black and yellow and red. But you are like sheep. Your government is rotten to the core. Now bring me before the government. You are deceiving the American people. And you, press, are an agent of the deception.

Last time I checked, it was Arabs selling black Africans to European and American slave traders, and among the Americans, Quakers owned many of the slave ships. I guess "Jew" must be Calypso Louie-speak for "Arabs and Quakers."
